I do both and I think bjj is more practical/useful from the start, judo takes a longer time to get somewhat good at but is super fun to practice.

generally a bjj blackbelt will submit a judo blackbelt more often than not, but both will work in beating anyone untrained.

do both if you can, or research how good the judo schools are in your area and how good the bjj schools are

if you live near an amazing judo school do that - if you live near an amazing bjj school do that..

Been doing both for several years. All other things being equal I'd recommend crosstraining to develop a more complete grappling game - preferably starting out with Judo as developing a decent standing game is harder than developing ground game. Make sure to invest enough time in that, even if you become discouraged by how hard it can at times be.

There's a fuckload of Parkour tutorials on Youtube, some good, some crap with background dubstep. Look around for footwear tips. 4chan is for crapping on your own hobbies and getting mad at unknowns on the Internet, not for productive endeavors.

You can use any shoes.
You can use sneakers if you like, maybe minimalist sneakers, you could wear work boots, combat boots, high heels (not recommended).

You might want to refrain from wearing boots until you've got good technique, so you don't rely on the boots and compromise good technique.

You could even go bare foot, but be aware of the dangers, especially with unconditioned feet.

Try to find Master Toddy's gym. Really just stay in Bangkok for any gyms.
Do your research beforehand on places to stay, costs, etc.
Most of all stay hydrated during training, you're probably not used to tropical heat, let alone the heat + exertion of training

Like trips, it was kind of the old saying about workhorse wrestlers - if they're your number two, you're golden. If they're your top guy, you're fucked.

I like the idea of continuing the retirement series of Flair -> HBK -> Taker of legends retiring each other. The Rock as a heel would be the best option if they can get him to wrestle, I don't see any other options desu. HHH has wrestled Taker enough times at Mania already and Jericho is too much of a jobber to believably beat him. Kane is too slow and crap in the ring now, a match between them would be awful, and Sting is dead. Any other active "legends"?
