The thing is that this is a pinnacle event in boxing because nothing ever happens in boxing, but if these fights happened six months to a year then would everyone have lost their shit so much? In MMA there are one or two big events per year at least, there are so many that they just don't seem as big time. MMA fans are spoiled compared to boxing fans, who don't get jack shit fucking ever
