It was also noted that Triple H got the biggest pop of the night with all cheers. At one point he hit a Pedigree on Reigns, which also got a big pop.

based shovelman haitch has also generally been cheered since he beat the shit out of Roman, and even managed to split a MONTREAL crowd 50/50 in favor of him against Ambrose.

I can't stand how the media paints physical combat off as "modern" and effective, throws that shit on TV in "competitive" setting (UFC kek) in order to boost gym membership sales worldwide. The answer has been around for much longer than the concept of commercial gyms.

I'm having a little trouble switching from kick boxing to MMA. The grappling I'm practiced in is illegal in most amateur and even professional leagues since the grand master only taught me grappling for self defense in emergency situations, that is outside of clench and throw from the clench. I'm OK it the clench, but my real strength my ability to go from a traveling punch with my right to a nasty roundhouse kick to the kidneys or back with my left in one smooth motion. My legs are ambidextrous. Unfortunately I'm told that outside of Kyuk Too Ki and Savate a kick that wraps around to the back is illegal. Is there a way to knock the person back more with the punch without sacrificing power from the rotation? So I can assure that the leg strike lands legal? So far I've just been told that they've never seen someone do that before. But then the city I now live in is hardly an mma hub. The lack of leagues here is one of the reasons I'm switching. The other reason is that I'm getting older and my ankle isn't what it used to be. MMA fights are shorter. If you are knocked down from a blow to the head there isn't even a count. That certainly makes for a faster fight. As far as my ground game goes I'm working on learning legal moves like the crucifix and arm bars that don't involve twisting the wrist or pushing with my legs to pull the arm out of the joint.

I'm 36 so this is all teaching an old dog new tricks. I can't just abandon everything, a lot of the combos are automatic at this point. It's hard to change your flow.

When will the "Russo is bad" meme die?

He single-handedly booked the greatest two years in WWE history (only 2000 under Kreski comes close). His time at WCW was a great improvement over the shit they had been putting out but he was working with an inferior roster, an inferior character web, and a shit load of issues with egos. TNA was always a disaster and he did the best he could.

If you really think McMahon was the key to the Attitude era success, you're ignorant. If you really think Russo was writing eight hours of ideas a week and Vinny Mac was just picking out the two hours that worked and abandoning 75% that was shit, you have no idea how long writing takes. There would have been very limited scope for bad ideas that didn't surface on TV when producing two (and eventually four) hours a week. It was all him.
