>Ric Flair: Several dozen.
>Thompson: Are we going to get any names?
>Flair: Do you want me to start with Halle Berry?
>Thompson: Oh! Halle Berry rode Space Mountain?
>Flair: (Laughs) Of course she did. She was in Atlanta and she had just gotten divorced from Dave Justice.

Who else do you think has ridden Flair's Space Mountain?

>Wrestling in 20s-70s
It's all about "wrestling skills" and the pressure is on "competition", not "entertainment" - the ratings are low, the overall interest in pro wrestling is low

>Wrestling in 80s
The term "sports entertainment is born". It's much more about entertainment than it was before, ratings are going higher than ever.

>Wrestling in 90s
Now it's 20% "wrestling", 80% "entertainment", the highest draws in the history, the biggest interest in PW ever, literally "wrestling boom".

>Wrestling in 2000s
It's becoming similar to 80s, where entertainment was not necessarily the core, just like competition wasn't too. Clear departure from 90s view of business. Ratings are falling down visibly.

>Wrestling in 2010s
It's basically the 20s-70s era more and more visibly - the pressure is much more on "wrestling" than it is on entertainment, storylines, good promos, etc. Ratings are plummeting faster than ever and are close to beating the worst ratings in RAWs history.

Really, this all makes you think, ey, smarks?

inb4worstratingswerein90s
(speaking about 1992-1994)
For WWE only, not for WCW, and of course this wasn't the impact of bad decisions in the 90s, it was from bad decisions in the 80s, which had impact on that period, just like still good ratings in 2000-2002 are thanks to good decisions in 90s, so this is not any argument.

This data also clears the stupid myth that Smackdown ever outdid RAW in ratings at any point in time.

Well this chart only shows 2003-2014, but I didn't post it here to be the core of this thread. I got my info rom many other charts and from basic knowledge of how PW was popular in particular eras. I just had to post any picture so I just chose this one.

Recently on WWE Network's Table For 3, The Big Show, Kane, and Mark Henry sat down to chat about a number of topics.

According to The Big Show the strongest professional wrestlers are Henry, Kane, and John Cena.

"My tops are Mark Henry, John Cena, and Kane, not just because he's sitting here. When I go by strength, it's guys you work with in the ring and their stability. There are a lot of guys that are strong, that can throw around a lot of weight, but they're not functionally strong in holding you or carrying you. And I know from people picking me up in the past who [has] had me."

During the show, Henry talked about ripping a locker door off its hinges.

"In Lafayette. Arn Anderson. You know Arn always used to work out before he comes to the building, so he put his stuff in [the locker] and didn't realize the locker didn't have that handle. So Billy Gunn and [Chris] Jericho had a crowbar and they had been trying to work on this thing for 20 [or] 30 minutes. And I walk in, and Ron [Simmons] says, 'there's your crowbar right there! Mark! Mark! Open that locker!' And they already crowbarred to where there was an indention in it, so I put my hand in and I pulled down like that. And it flew open and Jericho and Billy Gunn just fell on the ground laughing. And it was like, 'do you realize we've been working on this damn locker for, like, an hour almost?'"

The former 'Sexual Chocolate' also told a story about traveling to the wrong Springfield for a show.

> "They said, 'hey, we're in Springfield' and I was like, 'okay, well, I'm close.' I just book my ticket, so I go to Springfield, Illinois. The show wasn't in Springfield, Illinois. So I'm calling D'Lo [Brown], 'where are you at, man? I'm at the rental car place.' And he says, 'I'm in a rent-a-car place! Where are you?' I'm starting to look around and this is no cell phones. This is payphone. I'm looking around and I said, 'man, quit playing. Like, we've got to hurry up and go.' He's like, 'what gate are you at?' 'There's only one gate.' It was a small airport. 'You're in Springfield, Mass.?' I said, 'Springfield what?' And he was like, 'Mark, we're in Springfield, Massachusetts.' And I went, 'I'm not.'"

Henry claimed that the misadventure was the worst thing to ever happen to him during his long and decorated career in professional wrestling.

> "I was, like, panicking. I can't breathe. I think that was my first panic attack in my life." Henry recalled, "I was ready to jump off a bridge. I was like, 'oh my God, I'm so sorry I missed the show.' I got fined $1,500 and that was the worst thing that ever happened to me in wrestling."

> As noted, The New York Post reported that an "unidentified third party" paid the advance for tonight's Bound For Glory pay-per-view, as well as this week's television tapings in Orlando.

> Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live this afternoon that this week's tapings should take the company "through December."

> So after this week, TNA will not have another set of tapings until the end of year, or in early 2017, so they apparently have a few months before needing to finalize who will be the majority owner of the company.

> As noted, WWE has a SmackDown live event tonight in Ontario, CA. Wrestling Inc. reader Brian Reed-Baiotto @BReedBaiotto passed along the video below showing the crowd for tonight's show.

> Brian noted that a recent SmackDown taping at the same arena was about 85% full, while the last live event at the arena was about 65-70%. Tonight's show appears to be around 40% capacity.
