Meltzer-sama confirmed on last night's Wrestling Observer Radio that he was watching Tiger Mask W.
>I saw the first episode of the Tiger Mask cartoon but only the first 5 or 6 minutes. I think I got a phone call, so I didn't get the chance to finish it. But the heel in the Tiger Mask cartoon in the first episode, within the first 5 minutes I hate this guy more than any guy in professional wrestling. He was awesome! He was just such a frickin Ernie Ladd kinda bully, this giant muscular guy beating up on the young guys, just ripping their hearts out. I was just like, 'I hate this guy.' It was really good, I mean in that aspect. Best heel in wrestling is Rush and I love Rush, I don't hate him at all. But this guy, this frickin' cartoon character, man, he was great. I was like, goddamn, I wanna see him get it. But not enough to watch the show. And it's all in Japanese anyway, so it's hard for me to figure out. I really made a big mistake not learning Japanese when I was a kid.

It has shaken things up though. Smackdown is a solid show and is actually giving people opportunities. I doubt AJ would have gotten the title if he was still on Raw. Miz would be stuck fighting people like Kalisto in 5 minute matches.

Quality-wise, it has been a net gain. Raw's no worse than it was before the split, low bar, I know, and SmackDown is much, much better.
