For the past 6 months I've been watching the Youtube clips of RAW and Smackdown instead the actual TV shows. This is the future of wrestling, especially when you have a PPV once a fortnight to get your fix of long form wrestling. It's the best way to consume wrestling.

Say what you want about him but Roman is the absolute GOAT of this format. The only things he is missing is promos. If WWE figure out how to monetize that audience he will be their top draw, no doubt. After half of year of consuming WWE this way, this is what I'd say are the critieria for being a GOAT youtube wrestler:

1. Strong facial expressions (They need to communicate a story in 3 minutes)
2. Crisp, impactful looking signature offense (Its the only part of the match thats featured)
3. A great look (They need to communicate character in 3 minutes)
4. Promos (Least important because the shortness of the clips allow them to mask mediocre promos with good editing)

My personal rankings are thus:

In the (relatively average) 2015 American biblical sci-fi series The Messengers, actor Joel Courtney (pic related) plays the role of a "swim nerd" orphaned Texas teenager chosen by God along six other randoms to stop the impending Apocalypse. Superpowers and a race against time ensues.

I was surprised by the description of an athlete as a "nerd". Seriously? Is swimming that unpopular in the US that high-school swimmers are picked on, called gay, and considered "nerds"? And why the fuck?

Legit question. In my country swimming is neither popular nor unpopular in high school, but either way, people who can swim laps for hours are not usually looked down.

Also, swimming general I guess, assuming that's allowed on what is now /wrestling/.

Here's another still from the series, just for the sake of avoiding a 1-image thread. I never noticed, but you can see a swimmer's reflection in the underside of the water surface! Pretty cool. Opticks and whatnot.

Also it's not Texas it's Arkansas, my bad. Not that it matters though, it's probably filmed in Atlanta or Toronto like so many films nowadays.

Meltzer is using a different definition of "draw".
Technically speaking, Taker drew money in the sense that he ME'd a lot of shows, though they didn't do good business for him being on-top – often the inverse.
As an example:
Austin headlines Show A, does 2,000 buys
Taker headlines Show B and C, does 1,100 buys per.
By Meltzer's logic, Taker has drawn more than Austin, but really, he's not nearly as big a draw.
