92% of teenagers have turned to SmackDown! Live. Like this if you are part of the 8% that still watches real wrestling.

O I am laffin. At least Smackdown can manage more than one wrestling match in a hour of programming.

AJ is over and drawn precisely half a dime, which is half more than he's ever drawn.
What was this fucking promo about? I thought he was going to replace Shane in the team.
>>1962607
I like aj. Hes not so bad on the mic. Roman and Cena made him look like a million bucks. I don't get why he's not a draw. The ratings ever since aj became champ have fallen off hard. Even deanetty draws more than aj.
>>1962614
Kek same. I can't believe Shane is going to be in the match over Luke Harper or even ziggler. How fucking stupid and insulting
Who is going over?

No, that was gorilla screaming that he was going to kill the survivor series buyrate.
Based on title reigns alone, would you say he's a future Hall of Famer?
>5 IC title reigns, putting him in a three way tie with Ziggler and Triple H for third most IC reigns of all time
>297 combined days putting him in 10th longest combine days of all time putting him ahead of The Rock, Jeff Hardy and Chris Jericho
Also, post other semi irrelevant wrestlers that actually have an impressive title history/feat/accomplishment, despite never making it to the top of the company.
Rikishi got in.
he was the ic title god. he literally came back from a shit long injury and won the ic title back immediately on raw
Miz and Swagger's world title reigns will make them a shoe in for the Hall of Fame unless they do something to seriously piss off the company. They might not be headlining their class but they will 100% get in.
If Smackdown was named after one of his catchphrases instead of The Rock's, what would it be called?

Baron Corbin is hands down the best home grown talent WWE has produced in the last decade. If WWE had put more faith in a solid developmental system, and farming their own superstars from the start, we would be seeing a lot more of this.
Guys like Corbin and Tyler Breeze are what WWE needs more than ever to set themselves apart from the watered down indie promotions drowning in vanilla midgets and past their prime legends.
I'm cool with WWE bringing in guys like Roderick Strong, Tommy End, and the entire cruiserweight division, but they don't have to snag indie darlings to get their product over. If they take a look at what the performance center and NXT can do to Breeze, Corbin, American Alpha, The Revival, Enzo & Cass, Bayley and so many more, they'll see that.
ITT it's 2015?
>hands down the best home grown talent
>mention at least 3 homegrown talents better than him
>>1962129
Cass was in wwe development for FIVE years and is still absolute arse
Corbin was in for three
Now imagine you can get a guy who will automatically be more popular with contemporay smark crowds and/or actually knows how to wrestle a good match already without years of additional training (and the associated costs of that training)
Sure WWE has been scraping the bottom of the indy barrel lately but guys like Cesaro, Harper and Nakamura were very good hires
>Rusev not on SS
>Ziggler not on SS
>Corbin not on SS
>the entire cruiserweight division minus Kendrick not on SS
>PPV is STILL somehow 4 hours + 2 hour preshow
Why? How?
They've got what, six matches right now?
Summerslam had twice that many, and granted, Summerslam didn't have three giant elimination matches, but I imagine they'll find something for these guys to do.
Also, Ziggler is interfering with Miz and Zayn.
All 5v5 will be 30+ minutes at least
>>1962126
Even if you say the SS matches together will eat two hours, that only leaves Kalisto/Kendrick, Miz/Zayn and Brock/Goldberg. You need at least one more match on the main card.
Wanting to get TEW 2016. I've heard great things about the TEW series as a very in depth simulation of being a booker/promoter of a wrestling company. But my problems with it are that I don't know if i want to pay 37 dollars for it, and I dont know if Grey Dog Software is a safe 3rd party to purchase from.
Could I get some preferably not so smarky advice from /asp/?
It's a lot of fun and gives you a lot of freedom to mess around, and the amount of depth to what you can do is pretty impressive. You'll probably want to get a real-world mod but playing around with the Cornellverse characters is pretty fun too. Greydog is totally safe
>>1962088
Thanks comrade. I've played 2005 for hours on end before but that was free and i got it off a flash drive. I didnt know if GDS was trusted or if a newer version was worth the cash. And its funny because the reason I want 2016 is because I'd be just fine with 2005 if the mods kept going. But the most modern real world mod is June 2014 and thats a bit old for my taste. Would you know if the mods are as easy to install as 05's?
>>1962109
I haven't played 2016 but I imagine it's the same as 2013 and that's as simple as copy and paste, yeah
I think im done with WWE. I started watching in 2004 and stopped around 2008 then started again in 2011 but im done for good now.
The shows are all just so bland, boring and repetitive its becoming a chore to keep up with it. Matter of fact i haven't watched Raw/Smackdown in past month and i feel much happier. The wrestlers all look, talk and act the same, literally no one whos debuted within the past decade is a draw. They constantly have to bring back old wrestlers for nostalgia runs to get any interest in their product, WWE is a sinking ship. Sad to say this but I think Vince has completely lost his creative passion hes once had for sports entertainment.
Any other anons here not happy with current state of WWE and thinking about not watching anymore?
>>1961992
I kind of stopped this summer, before Summerslam. It's all so shallow. There is just nothing to enjoy. You won't regret quitting, trust me.
>>1961992
Welcome home, son. It is dead now. If you haven't already, go back and enjoy the Golden Era stuff. It's as good as Attitude era, and the matches are better.
Haven't watched since Summerslam, pretty good feeling desu
Was going to watch Survivor Series but seeing Shane McMahon wrestling in a non hardcore match and Goldberg falling on his ass killed any anticipation
This is what the average wrestling """"""fan"""""" looks like today.
They cheer for womens """wrestling""" because they think it makes them look progressive and they only like indie/foreign wrestlers under 6'.
They boo great wrestlers like Roman Reigns, Baron Corbin, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Braun Strowman etc. because they remind them of jocks that they got bullied by in school.

What can we do to stop these manlets my fellow anti-smarks?
wwe boosts every single person's stats hugely. smaller guys by even greater amounts
you think all these guys are really over 200 lbs?
>>1961940
BEEG really is a 7 footer though. He also did used to be a legit 500 pounder back in the days.
Some wrestlers actually aren't over billed at all. Even then not to this extreme like with Bryan. He is literally middle schooler height. How is this acceptable?
>>1961952
You're done growing at 25 right? But anyway average height is like 5'9
>"o-ok thank you"
Smarks non stop chanting is getting out of control, how do we fix this problem?
I am just glad many classic matches are long gone, imagine pic related today
