BJJ has no governing body so it doesn't really matter. Same thing with the distinction between 0th degree black belt which is an official fresh black belt in BJJ and a 1st degree black belt which is actually one rank above a fresh black.

Nobody on /asp/ does BJJ because it actually involves putting yourself out there to get squashed until you get good. For fake tough little smark keyboard warriors that's a tall order.
