Goldberg and Rock are some of the few wrestlers Brock legitimately respects. Back when Brock was a rookie Goldberg would give him advice about not being taken advantage asa big guy like how he was in WCW by Nash and co.

What's worse is that Goldberg didn't even go on to win it or anything, so now we have someone who's staying for a little longer looking like ass against someone who isn't.

What's worse is their 3 big stars barely even fought. When Lesnar got eliminated I thought fair enough, him jobbing to Goldberg all the time fits whatever angle they're going for.
Then Taker came and just casually threw Goldberg out and I thought eh, maybe they've got big plans for Taker then. It'd have been nice if they actually fought but they both looked a bit past it. Then Taker gets easily thrown out by Reigns and it's just a bit of a shitshow like you had all these stars in the Rumble and THAT'S the best you could do?

I also had high hopes for a surprise 30th that would be so big we didn't even care about Goldberg but once that didn't happen I pretty much reckoned this Rumble is complete ass

Tons of people watch the Rumble match for the surprises, and this year really was a letdown.
