What's your favorite NON-CUTE animal?

I think they're called tiger beetles in English.
Really aggressive towards other insects, with mandibles sharp and powerful enough to cut through human skin.
Fast runners, which also behave like grasshoppers, as in, they fly for short periods of time, to abruptly land again, to confuse predators.

I kept a bunch of them as pets, but they never get used to a enclosure and keep running against the glass, towards the sun. Unless you throw them food, which they'll focus immediately.

They also dig small caves to sleep in during the night, and when you dig them out, you actually have to wake them up by prodding them. So it's actual sleep, and not just some half-assed rest other insects do.

Honestly, I'm having trouble thinking of an animal I like that I don't consider cute. Whale Sharks come to mind because of OP's pic, but they're adorable.
