What is this?
For the past 4 days I have seen 1 of these each night inside my bedroom.
Underside image. I couldn't get it any flatter than this.

Ah, seriously? They have so few legs though... But you're right, is dead ringer. That was my first thought, but I have no experience with anything that doesn't kill me.
I wish there was a surefire way to get them to fuck off though.

They were everywhere when I moved in my apartment back in 2012 but after about a year they almost totally disappeared. About a year ago I started seeing them in my damn shower all the damn time. I have no idea how they get there or why it's always there, it's a damn shocker first thing in the morning sometimes though, butt ass naked staring at one of these nasty fuckers.
WTF dude
you had to go mutilate it?
They're among the coolest things to live in your house including you
btw the reason they're there is because you have 10 times that many other pests hiding. They're like robotic sentries liquidating silverfish
as the anon said
take apart and completely clean your vents, clean all the antique wood dust, screw off and clean behind the plints, inside radiators, under cabinets, and maybe you'll get rid of your smaller friends they feed on
