Hovawarts are god-tier doggos. Grew up with one - the most loving and gentle dog you could ask for, but was ready to fuck up everyone who posed a threat

I have a Landseer now who doesn't even wake up when a stranger (friends, acquaintances etc) enters the house

You also know thats what a Tibetan Mastiff should look like? It wasnt until the Europeans incorrectly called that dog a mastiff that show breeders started breeding them to look like mastiffs.
