Haven't seen a thread about this in a while.

Damn temor beasts. They are such a pain to catch without getting your arm bit off
I saw this today while looking at some headlines. It's the stone martin that shut down the hard-on collider.

I would have expected for nothing to be left of it but a smear of char.

Looks like a rapist
I am very sorry to say I have some OC for this thread, mostly because I do not what what the fuck I'm doing, how to skin anything, or how to mount anything. It's a miracle the hides got cured and tanned okay without the hair falling out or rotting to pieces.
So, this is stoat 1. Its missing all of its feet because I accidentally pulled them off in the skinning stage, and also accidentally cut off the chin, so I had to hack a piece off pale fur from its side of sew to the bottom of its face.

This is stoat 2. Only one of its feet got pulled off, but there was some fur slippage behind one of the ears, and the hide was really weird and hard, but I put this down to the fact it was thawed and then frozen again so many times. (This animal was the subject of a post-mortem prior to being skinned, and it was frozen for an indeterminate period of time before both events.)
To summarise: I have never taxidermied a thing in my lofe prior to these stoats and I suspect that may be the issue.

Quads confirmed

That's what I figured. You aren't automatically good at something overnight.
It's kind of hard finding fresh dead things. Only get stoats because I'm helping with a conservation project and occasionally a nice pest specimen will come across the post-mortem table. Already decided I don't want to do rats or mice, even if I get nice ones.
(heavy breathing) H-hey guise, what's, what's goin on in this thread? (labored breathing continues)

Oh, not much. Just, you know, busy being a cylinder. What's up with you?
