My stupid cat left home (is a indoor cat) I'm looking for

OP, if it's any consolation, cats don't run away like dogs. The only cats I've ever had disappear were once when it got out and the neighbor kid stole it and once when a cat I had got stuck in something. He might just be exploring and will come when he's done. Not to be super racist, but Mexicans steal people's pets. Just FYI.

Get an animal trap, put tuna or wet food as bait, and leave a litterbox nearby.

You might get other animals too, but it will lure your cat back to your yard if he/she is nearby.

Most likely your cat will be hiding in a tree, a calm spot on someone's yard (behind a bush, under cars etc) or near trash bins.

Litter box trick is very good advice. They'll smell that from a few miles away. Don't leave out food because that will atttact other animals and it might scare your cat away. Talk to neighbours, put up signs, and call/visit your nearby shelters in case he got picked up. If he's microchipped, call the appropriate company to report him as missing and update your contact info if necessary
