I got some micro crabs today. Limnopilos naiyanetri. Basically tiny little pompom spider crabs. They're hard to breed so I'm not going to bother trying. If it happens, it happens, but I don't think it'll happen.
I have them in a shrimp tank with red cherry shrimp and a few otos.
Managed to catch this one scuttling from one patch of java moss to the other. They're hard to see, they hide in pretty small cracks, so I guess they're not the best display species. Still fairly neat.
A better picture. Found on net, I don't have a camera this good.
Ignore the harlequins. They were just in there as a very temporary solution while I figured out what to do with them. I don't think they'll attack adult shrimp but they'll eat babies.
The only actual fish I keep in this tank is a trio of otos, which as far as I know are the only fish that won't even eat shrimp babies.

I have a very old, very shitty video from when I had them. I had two that lasted 1½ and 2 years, respectively. It was before I knew nearly as much as I do now.

And a picture. This is still one of my favorite Aquarium pictures I've taken.
I love their little old man faces.

That's a good pic.
