Melbourne, Australia. What is this spider? Also spider general.

Variant of a Orb Weaver I'd guess. Is there a web near it, and is it sticky as fuck?
>>2293794
Yes and yes. It was hanging right in a doorway, so I moved it outside. Never seen those markings before.

Neither, I just took a swing based on body and leg shape. They're stubby little fuckers, and they're everywhere in summer.
>>2293808
Well thanks. Seemed pretty cool too, just had a habit of hanging exactly where I wanted to walk.

I have the same question as OP, just noticed it in my room. Anyone know what is it?
>>2293783
I think it's a RedBack; not all RedBacks have a literal 'red back'. Don't sweat it, Redback's fangs are not long enough to penetrate adult skin (keep it away from your children).

I'd go with Daddy long legs ( not knowing where this pic was taken)... most venomous spider around (as legend would have it), but again, fangs too short to deliver it to an adult human.

Woo, (you)'s are back... and you would identify it as?
>>2293839
For a second there I thought you were just retarded but it turns out you also think you're an epic hilarious cool troll. Glad that's settled.
>>2293846
me too. So what's OP's spidey friend then?
