Is there any indisputable evidence that T Rex did or did not have feathers, yet?
>>
I hope it didn't that would look gay
>>
In short
>All dinosaurs are ancestors to birds, a species of which every member had feathers
>All closely related species to Tyrannosaurus are genetically related to dinosaurs that have feathers
>Direct ancestors of the Tyrannosaurus species had feathers

>tl;dr
There is no reason Tyrannosaurus wouldn't have feathers. People being butthurt about it doesn't change the objective reality.

What's up with those goofy looking arms ?

evidence is by its very nature disputable.

if it weren't, it would be a fact or datum, not evidence.

regarding rex feathers no. Nothing conclusive.

skin samples of it and its closest relatives all have scales rather than feathers.

bracketing indicates it should have feathers though.

neither the fossil evidence nor the phylogenetic is complete or compelling though. It's possible that it had feathers on parts of the skin that haven't been found just like it's possible that its ancestors with feathers weren't actually related to it.

I particularly enjoyed the parts about being genetically related even though no genes from those animals exist, and the bit about Yutyrannus and Dilong being "direct ancestors of the Tyrannosaurus" despite that being statistically impossible and their being at best sister taxa.

finer points aren't his forte.
