What big guys do you have?

I've been planning on getting either a water monitor or a nile monitor. Anyone had experience with monitors?

I live in FL so sunlight and saltwater for swimming are readily available

Is it a good idea to take a monitor to the ocean? (With a leash/harness of course)

I had a man-boy for a pet for 11 years. Too high maintenance, food, medication, housing but super clingy and affectionate. 210 lbs 6ft 11in. big boy.

I don't know what you think of monitors but it's not a dog you don't take it for a walk at the beach. Start with an ackie monitor they're small and easy. I think a nile monitor would eat a doofus like you for breakfast
