just caught this little birdie , what do you think?
>>
>>2187198
Scary.
>>
>>2187198
He can twirl them like a rotor and fly around.
>>
>>2187198
>evolution

More like genetic defect. But it worked in his favor seeing he's a pretty good size.
>>
>>2187198
Lots of examples on Google too.
Why not keep and breed this monster?
>>
>>2187198
Don't kill him, he may transmit his genes to the next generation of super mutant scorpions

>evolution
>genetic defect
>worked in his favor
You just defined evolution
>>
>>2187293
It's not that simple though. A physical defect like a double tail is almost-certainly uninheritable.
>>
>>2187307
Pretty much, they bred a double tail in captivity and none of the babies had the double tail.
>>
>>2187307
Meh it's more complicated than that. But typically yes, homeobox genes are highly conserved.
>>
Breed it and create a super scorpion.
>>
>tfw Chad down the street has a scorpion with THREE tails
>>
>>2187198
>that man gown
Fuck off Saudi cockroach
>>
>>2187198
That's pretty damn cool. Keep it in a special tank and breed it while keeping an extra special effort to monitor it. It may not be able to pass its genes on like the other guy said, but what if you were the lucky guy that did it? Not only that, but it would simply be cool as hell to watch it and see if it does things differently.

Scorpions have a 1 in 5000 chance to be born with 2 tails, most of those never even reach adult hood. Also I got my info about the gene not passing on from one of the few double tails that was bred. Which was named pepe, long before that fucking frog. http://www.sasionline.org/pepe/
>>
>>2187664
What if you bred THIS double tail scorpion with a descendant of Pepe, if the offspring have the genes from both parents, does that increase the likelihood of being born with double tails?
