Hey /an/ inexperienced cat owner here, this stray cat pretty much moved in with me in the last week and like an idiot i've been feeding it that cat food that comes in small bags, it's not expensive but I wanted to find a more stable less expensive method, so I bought a regular can of cat food (contains 2-3 meals) and the first time I served it the cat just licked the gravy and left the meat.
I tried mashing it up so she can't avoid the meat and she ate just a little bit, like 10% of it.
What do I do? How do I get this little bitch to eat ?

Give it whatever halfway decent cat food you want, if it doesnt like it it will get hungry and either eat it or leave to find something it does like. Asshole cats

Its a stray cat so she probably likes shit from the garbage. If you want to keep it just make sure it doesnt get out of the house and make sure it doesnt get to your garbage when it gets hungry it will eat the food you bought.

-Mash it up with water
-Mash it up with a different canned food
-Crush kibble, mix with canned food
-Sprinkle fish flakes or nutritional yeast on it
Or try all of the above.
