To you kill these guys or leave them alone?

I put them outside so it all depends on the time of year.

Leave them alone. They're good little housemates since their diet consists of ants, termites, and other pests. In fact, the more you see, they can be a good indication of an infested house.

These guys used to be in a warehouse I had to work in constantly. They were everywhere! Can anyone give me a name perhaps so I may learn more?

They'll leave eventually if the humidity is low (~45%). Leave them alone- they may snag some pests.

That's not a daddy long legs my ninja

I looked up and a goddamn gigantic ones of these had set up a web in the corner of my shower. I went to go try and scoop him into a jar to take outside but it started freaking out and doing these fucking huge shaking jerking motions in it's web and I smashed it because I thought it was about to launch itself at my face.
Still feel bad about it.

Cellar spiders (or daddy long legs)

They are the absolute TOP TEIR spider bro. I am admittedly afraid of spiders and will remove any in my house except these.
>cannot bite you because fangs are too small to pierce human skin
>even if they did, their venom probably wouldn't even cause a reaction
>in spite of that, eat all kinds of pests from mosquitos to other spiders
>too big to crawl into any bodily orifice while you're asleep
>too small to be scary
>make a small, almost invisible web in corners
>do not roam around
>slow and fragile, basically harmless

Yeah, they spaz out to make themselves harder to grab by predators.
I have arachnophobia something fierce. I tolerate the one that's in the top corner of my shower, because it eats the ants that come in somewhere up there.
