My Aphonopelma Chalcodes hasn't grown nor molted nor eaten in a full year. I know tarantulas can fast but this seems like so much and I'm worried and surprised it hasn't died.
I have an OBT which I've had for a year (got it the same time) and it's grown 5 times its original size and molted 4 times.
What worries me the most is that it hasn't eaten at all for a full year and it's still alive.

Aphonopelma take forever to grow. They rarely eat, because they have incredibly slow metabolisms. Your spider is fine as long as the abdomen is proportionate
Also is that white stuff web? I fed it a cricket cut in pieces and within 2 days it died and got covered in that white stuff, normally I remove food every 3-4 days. I did not think land tarantulas would web that much, my OBT webbed his whole set up. But this one doesn't eat and it's done this several times how does it produce so much? Unless it's something else.
Another picture of it.

Also, if it makes a difference it seemed dead when I first got it and didn't move at all for 2-4 days, and I think it has a funny leg but it walks around sometimes or if I open the lid.
This is my OBT just as a bump. It's very active and eats a lot.
