I'm level 30 on very hard and shits a breeze. Got enough cores to always wear a power suit and I slap shit silly with my swattah and named weapons. Legendary deathclaws get stun locked to death while I pound their face. Raiders of all sorts go down in one to two hits. With enough drugs and the right clothes I've never failed a charisma check even though it's my lowest stat next to agility. Melee is broken and amazing.

Anyway, I'd go blue heeler. Best dog. I already have the perfect acd for the task. Rediculously smart and very aware of his surroundings. Could probably teach him to fire a shotgun *wonk*.
