So what would happen if a US Navy trained sealion fought a normal sealion?
>>2076204
Purple heart.
hey look i found a little snake friend outside
Good for you. Leave it alone
Sweet snek
You should touch it.
Hi, /an/. I plan to start my first real garden soon, the cold days of winter are near over. I was thinking of making my own worm compost bin. Has anyone here ever done it? Is it hard or tedious to maintain? It seemed easy to me when reading it, would like to hear experiences though. I plan on digging up invasive species worms and using them as my little helpers.
Feel free to post your gardens, what you've harvested, tips, etc.
Worm compost bins are best red wrigglers.
just ordered a fake coyote for the yard
I expect it will scare the squirrels for about 2 hours before they start chewing on it.

Yeah I saw all the instructional pages said to use red worms, but why is it red worms particularly are the best to use? I can't find anywhere explaining it.
Can you guys help me figure out what kind of lizard this is?
>>2076088
uromastyx
>>2076088
looks like an agamid. Maybe Uromastyx?
what country? Size?
>>2076093
Unknown and unknown, I just found this lizard on a video
This morning I noticed drops of blood around the kitchen, knowing it wasn't me, decided to check my 2 dogs, it wasn't my chihuahua, but my miniature from terrier who appeared to be bleeding from his urethra. What I'm saying is should I be worried and has this happened to any of you guys. I've had him for 13-14 years and would hate to see him go.
Pic related, not my dog but he looks like it
>>2076080
>Should I be worried
>Blood coming out of him
Uhhh...anon, really? Come on, when was the last time he had a check up at the vet? That sounds some some majerly bad shit going on, go take him in.
>>2076085
Well it's just that he always gets underneath the car and I'm thinking might just have cut himself, and im relatively poor, meaning a costly pet bill is gonna destroy me.
>>2076089
OP, let me put this in a different perspective for you then.
Your dog is peeing blood, which means it's very likely he either has cancer or a tumour in there. Now, you can let it be and MAYBE it will go away, but more than likely your dog is going to suffer horribly, get really fucking sick, and waste away. Now, you can either get your shit together and save a little money for your dog that you've had for years and love, or you can do the kind thing and at least get him put down so he doesn't suffer.
Or another option is to give him to a humane facility where he has another chance at life.
If you want to continue to say that you can't afford the vet, which isn't that fucking expensive, all you're going to get from this board is hate and disdain.
A friend spotted this today.
What could possibly go wrong, /an/?
>>2076044
the poisonous cobra could bite off the kid's arm
>>2076046
I don't think that's a cobra, anon.
>>2076048
Yeah, on a closer look, this is most likely a green mamba. They are known for focusing kidneys when strangling you to induce a failure of such and forcing dialysis treatment onto you.
Hey, guys. I've been feeling pretty down this whole week, so can we get just a general funny animal thread? Puns welcome
>>2075988
nah fuck you cunt
>>2075991
Okay am sorry
>>2075988
Hello /an/dventurers!
Found this on the dog. What the hell is it? Inb4 SARS or dog AIDS
Not the reaction pic, but the little thing on the hand
/an/ doesn't go outside.
I think you're looking for >>>/out/
SSIA
I currently have a Florida box turtle. When I have a better job I'd like to get a central american ornate wood turtle, pic related
I'm waiting to let them outside again, it's a pain in the ass to collect weeds for them.
if the tank was large enough, could a turtle and a lizard from the same region share a vivarium?
>>2076430
I guess if it's big enough you could keep an arboreal gecko or anolis. but if the turtle would ever get the chance to eat it, it would probably do so.

So /g/ recently developed a hard-on for cows. What is your favorite cow technology?
>>2075818
Bolt gun.
The milking robot is definitely my favorite.
The cows can come and go, sleep when they want, and milk themselves when they feel like it.
I really like those automatic cow petting/grooming brushes.
Do you know a trick to get your cat to take medicine? At the moment I have to hold the thing and shoot up the stuff up it's throat, but it's a fight every time. If I give it into it's food it won't touch it.
Hard to deal with these guys and giving meds. My cat was very stubborn about it and even when we could get it inside him, he'd barf. Cats can be so spiteful!
It's not a pretty alternative, but is it something that could possibly be administered anally? I know it's less fun, i just know the butt is going to fight a whole lot less than the mouth and it can't throw it back up. Just something to consider! Best of luck
Tablets or paste? I've always just found it easier to get paste form if possible and squirt it in the side of their mouth. Cats can't spit so if it's stuck to the tongue they need to swallow. For tablets I need to restrain them, put it at the back of their tongue and hold their mouth closed. I've yet to find any easy way to give an aggressive cat tablets when they won't eat.
You can take your cats prescription to a compounding pharmacist and have them make it into a dermal gel that will absorb directly through the skin. Just rub the measured amount onto the cat's ear. I did this for my cat when he was old and rickety. I didn't want to fight him to get this meds every day since he was such an old man cat. Worked out really well.
Hey /an/, I wanted to get your guys thoughts on putting plants in old yankee jars. Any ideas what plants would be small enough for that? I was thinking some smaller cacti since they're easy to care for but would like something prettier if that's an option.
>tldr: what are some small house plants
You mean using the glass as a pot or actually IN it?
Spider plant cuttings possibly . I used to put them in plastic containers and they are fine in a sealed environments.
>>2075735
Using it as a pot. My biggest concern is the size.
Is being cute a valid evolution strategy?
>>2075679
Considering it gets people to donate to preserve pandas, yes. If it works, it's valid.
>>2075679
Only for young animals cuteness has no effect on full grown animal life except mentally ill humans of course that for some explained reason desire to make thing cute like a bunch of lunatics our ancestors would probably beat us senseless if they say the stupid shit we have done to their animal friends the first dogs.
>>2075679
Yes.
I hate to start a new thread but what bones are these from? decent size, my boot is for scale,
this was odd, fair bit bigger than my boot
this was 20 feet from the others
>>2075677
It would help if we knew where you lived that would help with what kind of animals live there and might be able to narrow it down some
I just noticed these on my bunny showing above the fur. It's been acting normal and I haven't noticed any problems so far but these 2 things. Should I be worried and rush to the vet or could this be something common? Thanks.
PS: these are located right before it's anus
nips ya dumbass
>>2075576
You aren't founding your bunny are you?
