Hey there flower lovers, i got this orchid (pic related) in a test tube and i'm wondering if i could repot it into a regular pot, and if yes, how do i do that? It seems this is Cymbidium orchid, if it happens to be relevant. Thanks a lot guys!

In social mammals, adults play with the young, so that is probably closest to such feeling. Not just their own offspring either, in a lion pride they will play with other cubs too. Also adoption does occur but I don't know a good example.

I'm not sure if this is a real thing or just a lot of people around me do this but.
How come so many people who own Huskies have pairs of them? Like is this some kind of thing with huskies where its better to keep them together or something?

I don't think it's that common, but it could just be that they love huskies and dogs usually do better with a dog companion, so they chose another husky as a companion for the first dog.

Hi an. I recently moved from a rural setting to a city apartment complex. Where i lived before was kind of trashy: illegals and white trash. They didnt keep their dogs contained and they were often allowed to roam, taunt my dogs at the fence, etc. If they were injured they were left to limp and behave aggressively towards me and my dogs on walks.
So suffice to say: mine are not socialized to unfamiliar pet dogs. They do fine in a park setting or indoors with other dogs, but they are reactive to passing dogs.
Today there was a spaniel on a flexi lead. My small dog barked and ran at her, then as i went to pull her away my large lab grabbed onto the spaniel. He did not shake or pull or growl, only held tight to the spaniel.
She had no puncture wounds or blood after getting them apart.
How should i best go about preventing this from happening again? I need to lower their reactivity to other dogs, and ensure the lab does not ever behave in such a way again. He is not as reactive, but the small dog riles him.

My first loving cat died of Feline leukemia 2 weeks ago and I'm so stuck trying to process it. That cat would let me hold him like a baby and purr. He still did it before he got sick. It didn't help that the Fleas infested him while we treated him with medicine and did our best. Louie is the father of the cat shown in the picture. He was a huge orange cat with a hidden pattern on his head. What's most sweet about him is that unlike most cats Louie actually liked the kittens and played with them until he died. Izzy gave birth to patch a Black cat with white on her. At least a part of Louie lives on in my best friend Patches. Its pathetic but she really is my best friend. I really loved him. He's done so much for me and my family. (Louie is in this picture)
