I've had 10 cats in my life so far. They've always had a food dish out to eat when ever. Only two of the cats were fat. They are both patterned like pictured. The tabbies, tux, and the solid grey cats never got fat.

When taken care of, cats live a bloody long time. How the fuck did you manage to have 10 already? Did some die or something? How many have you had at one time?
>>

4-5 at a time,since I was 6.

>one lived to 18, died of natural causes while sleeping in the house
>one put down when it was 10 because mystery paralysis
>one went missing back when we used to let the cats out.
>spotted pattern fat cat 1 died last year at 15. got ill, lost over half her weight, was put down because the stress of illness was going to cause heart failure soon anyways.
>few months later the other 15 year old was put down when his kidneys failed and he started dehydrating.
>a 12 year old female tabby, living
>10 year old long hair tux male, living
>3 year old male tabby, living
>9 month old spotted pattern fatty number 2, living
>6 month old solid grey sort of long hair male, living

and i'm in my 30s

I've been in the market for a new pet, probably a herp or invert of some kind, but my local exotic pet store closed down recently. What are some Internet breeders/dealers, that have good and healthy animals.

My top picks are probably a centipede or tarantula of somekind, or a new lizard.

You don't really need location for online buying, he'll probably just call them up to find out if they can ship to him.

Live sphagnum is shit for low plants, it covers all of them. I have to pull my dionaea out every month or the moss engulfs them. Pretty good for Sarracenia though.

Anyway I'm not posting pics because they are just finishing dormancy and still look like shit.

it's pretty nice for all droseras, but yes trimming is a downside.

before I even start - yes, she's been to the vet. They did full bloodwork (expensive as hell) and found nothing unusual. If this persists they're gonna test for FIP and feline leukemia, which she already had the test for a few months back and came up negative. In the meantime I'm getting really worried.

So we got this kitten after a saddle thrombus suddenly killed one of my other cats in december. She's extremely naughty, cute as fuck, and loves to cuddle up with our other cat, who gets along with her really well. We've had her about 2 months. She's generally super energetic and gets into everything, like regular kittens at 5 months do, but suddenly last week she just became really really lethargic. She's perfectly alert and not necessarily sleeping, just laying in the same spot on the bed, and doesn't really have any interest in playing. She's still eating, drinking, and using the litterbox just fine, but it's been a full week now and she's still just... lazy. I'm freaking out, to be honest. When our other cat died in december it was so sudden and so awful I honest to god fucking cried my eyes out for days. What if our new kitten has some fucked up thing and she's gonna die?? The vet said since she's still got a real good appetite he's not to worried, but this is so weird. Anybody have any input?? I'm desperate to find what this could be.

oh, also - the vets also did a urine analysis, which came back normal, and she had a very low fever (like 102.8 or something), but they said that was probably because of stress since she is feisty as fuck at the vets.
>>
Maybe she is maturing early or the spot is comfy AF?
>>
>>2077748
It could be a rather uncommon form of FIP. I'm assuming the test the vet will do tests for both kinds because it does not really sound like the common kind, which often includes a lot of bloating and inability to pee and poo on top of being lethargic

Hey /an/, a random puppy I've never seen before started jumping on me and licking me as I went into my house.

I let him in my backyard, what should I do with him?

Pic related is the puppy

Check for a collar and a name or something with an address.
If he lets you, check his ear for a tattoo.
Take him to the vet so they can check for chips and do a check-up.
If the vet finds no chip and nobody comes to claim it, you can come pick him back up later.
>>
>>2077700
He has no tags at all, but I'll check his ear later. I doubt he'd have anything there though
>>
>>2077702
I don't know how common it is abroad, desu. It used to be done on dogs here for identification, but nearly all dogs get chips now.

What he needs is to be blacklisted from ever owning a pet again, if only that were possible. "Throwing away" a pet should never be an option for anyone. It's a fucking family member, not a toy.
