I saw one for the first time ever in the dog park the other day. It was wearing a stupid fucking jacket too. I didn't realise how small they were! In pictures they look the size of normal dog.

Unless it was cross, didn't look like it.

I just captured one of these hellish creatures in my room. I moved in three months ago. I live directly under the attic and occasionally saw silverfish (two or three times, I captured them and released them), but when THIS THING crawled right next to me at the wall with incredible speed I lost my shit. Heard they eat silverfish, but I can't deal with this shit. Took me a lot of guts to capture it.

Now, should I get an exterminator? I figured I have to get rid of silverfish, which are house centipedes prey, to get rid of those creatures from hell. Anyone had experience with this stuff? What should I do?

I don't have money for an exterminator at the moment. I'm literally freaking out. (I hate arthropods so much.)

The best part is that this is absolutely unavoidable. Any adult, no matter how healthy, and no matter how good personal hygiene he or she has, is guaranteed to have hundreds, if not thousands, of these bros living on their faces.

Thank you kind Anon, I find it sad that the Mustelid/Long mammal/ferret general keep on dying. :/

>How many ferrets do you have?

2 big bad boys named Isisdore and Raoul.

>How old are they?

Isidore is nearly 3, and it was Raoul birthday yesterday, he turned 2. Happy birthday to him!

>What is your favorite thing about them?

For Isidore it is that he's always so playful, full of energy. He's very muscular and always seems to be doing some kind of mischief. He's also the best at ferret war dance.

For Raoul it's that he's so affectionate and cute. He's always giving kisses, climbing me for hug, he loves to be with us humans.

>How did you get your ferret?

From a ferret' shelter. I first chose Isidore back in april 2015, he was beautiful and playful, but was also bitting a lot. Nobody was interested in him for that, and I think nobody beside me would have picked him. That's not the reason I got him, I really loved him, bitting or not. But I'm just happy to know that I offered a chance to a ferret that had 0% chance to be adopted.

Following that, in july/august, Raoul arrived at the shelter and was incredibily popular. I was planning on getting only one ferret, but you know how it is... I just couldn't resist.

They're getting along very well and are living with us since september. Here is a picture of Raoul since it's his birthday.

Playful, loving, cuddly, cheers you up, loves being both outside and inside, doesn't take ridiculous amount of exercise, takes training well. I'd be OK with any size just not giant.

The /aq/ generals are just becoming too caustic especially for marine/reef aquarium hobbyists. So I am starting a new marine specific thread.

Just like our freshwater counterpart discuss anything marine aquarium related, including inhabitants, décor, equipment and issues.
TL;dr If you need to measure specific gravity on your water it belongs here.

Google is your friend.
Feel free to ask questions but know that there are a lot of resources out there that could answer your question a lot faster and accurately than /an/.
Plan well but don't be intimidated by marine aquaria.

As always make sure to include these things in your post before asking because we can't help you if we don't have the full picture:
-tank size & volume
-parameters
-any and all inhabitants + how long you've had them

What's the best kinda of all in one reef ready aquarium?
Yeah I know
>All in one tanks
But I really just want something simple to setup I'm thinking about getting a Redsea 44g system what do you think?
>>
>>2105487
I don't usually have opinions on tanks smaller than 100g.
>>
>>2105487
I service a few clients that own them. They are pretty straight foward to set up but I have some issues with them.

The Red Sea built-in skimmers are pretty sucky and you cant really swap them out with an alternative one. As with all those all-in-one systems it's like a prebuilt gaming PC or lapto where you can't really expand or upgrade equipment on it.

The other issue is the glass on the Redsea tanks seems to be super porus/sticky and tends to be really hard to clean.
