Hard to pick, both are cute.

The one on the left is prettier, but the one on the right looks more playful

Tiger moth of some species probably. Try to feed it plants near where you found it, but luckily tiger moths tend to be generalists and eat many types

We just adopted a 3 month old male kitten and we already have a 3 year old female cat. Do you guys have any tips to make them best friends? The kitten is currently in my sister's room and he already seems extremely comfortable, smelling us, meowing and exploring the whole room. They didn't directly meet each other but my cat was hissing at him a little under the door but she didn't try to attack him from under the door or anything. Also, he got sterilized just yesterday.

What would be the next step?

Hey /an/. I am currently writing a book which will take place in a desert. Can you recommend any documentaries (singles or series) about them? Where they go into flora/fauna but also into some kind of tribes and most importantly how to stay alive if you would get lost in one? Did discovery chanel/national geographic did something decent about them?

would be great!

Attenborough did some good docs about the desert, try his Living Planet series and the desert seas episode.

Watch "Africa", its on netflix and has an entire episode dedicated to the Sahara

There are some ants that live there that are silver, its pretty cool

For context, I live in a villa once used as a sanitorium. The complex consists of around 15 villas and many more smaller domiciles. Recently a friend and I went on a walk and found plenty of interesting flora. Chiefly the fungi I will begin dumping.

Hey guys, can you help me on what breed this kitten is?

My cousin just rescued it from a river a few hours ago, and he wants to give it as a gift. She's a stray and is recovering well (thank God)

Sorry if the image is terrible, I can't get any more from him today

Domestic longhair. Little cutie though, hope she does well. Also, pets as gifts almost never works out, I highly recommend against it.
>>
Never give animals as gifts unless it's been already in planning. Like giving a child as a "gift".

Good luck.
>>
Agreeing with both the Domestic Longhair and don't give it as a gift

They are constantly shitting on my car non stop. It doesnt even make sense to clean it any more with how much they are shitting.

if you consider the one in the pic European or police style, then yes, I use some of these
>>
The trick is in the collar, not in the leash.

For collars, I really really like martingales. It has just enough bite to correct little problems and keep them from slipping loose of their collars. Prong collars are awesome for training, but if you have to use them more than a month, there is either a problem with you or with your dog. Figure out which. Choke collars are like ghetto martingales, and constrict way too tight. If you have a 1/2" thick chain, it will dig into the neck. A 1.5" nylon strip will apply pressure but not brutally choke the poor things. If they need that much correction, get a prong collar. Same effect and won't truly damage them.

I have 2 dogs, both over 150lb (Great Pyrs), and I use 6ft leash by Primal Pet Gear. One hand is wrapped around the handle to make sure it can't be dropped, the other is guided by the other hand for control of the dog.

A retractable gives you no control and those leashes are terrible all around. The people that use those don't have any control over their pets. The dogs have never been taught to walk on a leash, otherwise a 25' retractable leash would be pointless because the dog would be nearby them at all times.

.... on a side note, I do recommend those Primal Pet Gear leashes. We have 4. Best leashes I've ever owned. ASIN: B0146913BU.

I use a retractable now that my dog is trained for a proper leash (he had never been walked despite being almost 2). I keep him on a harness and he walks by my side most of the time. He isn't allowed off-leash because he is a runner and might not come back for an hour or two.

I have the long retractable because the shelter lied and said that he was low energy when we got him. I have weak lungs so I can't run with him but the longer leash allows him to run a bit when I give him the okay. The leash is about 26 feet long so he can run a nice bit

Because it's swimming in cash after entering a deal with the Australian Tourist Board to rip off attention whore Instagram-addicted gap-year millennials

The local shelter threw an adoption event after some hoarder got busted. There was a litter of about seven puppies around 10 weeks old and I couldn't resist. Anyway, he's absolutely wonderful, and everything, but apparently he had never been taken out of his kennel his whole time with her.

Pros: He goes into the kennel without a fuss every time I give him the command to, and never cries or freaks out about it.

Cons: He can't seem to recognize the kennel isn't the damn indoor toilet anymore. He's even started to develop hot spots from laying in his piss and shit while I'm not home. He doesn't even try to hold it in until I come back, and its starting to affect my other dog, who I never had issues with, but now that she sees him just going whenever indoors, she's started going on the floors.

So, how do I make him realize that's not ok for him to be doing? My water bill is going up since I have to bathe him every morning and every time I come home to avoid piss feet/butt on my carpets.

Pic related; the asshole in question.

Dude, he's a puppy! Why the fuck do you have a -puppy- if you have to crate it AND you're working? You weren't ready for one, and you're making him lose out on an important learning period in his life.

Either taking some time off work to deal with him, or give him to someone who can take care of him.
>>
>>2124631
Never said anything about working, bruh. Stick to the thread.

Also, how is crating him at night as a puppy different than people who crate their dogs at night during any time in their life?

What mental backflips did you have to go through to translate ''he's in the crate at night and when I leave the house'' into ''he's always in the crate and I need him to learn to stop pooping ever''?
>>
>>2124643
Not him, but why do people put their dogs in crates at all? I grew up with multiple dogs and have a dog of my own now. I don't even have a crate nor any idea why I would need one.

So I'm thinking of getting of a veiled chameleon, but I don't know the first thing on taking care of them, let alone where to buy one. If anyone here is an expert at this stuff please let me know. I'd like to know where to buy, what to buy, and chameleon care taking basics. Oh yeah, I read up on these chameleons, and everywhere I look it says chameleons are best for experienced reptile owners. Is that true? If so, why?

>>
They're unrecommended as a beginner reptile due to paradoxical habitat requirements.
They need humidity of ~80% but also need heavy airflow.

I shouldn't really be saying this since you obviously didn't put much effort into researching but pestmarts sell veiled chameleons and so do petsmarts.
>>
>>2124616
I also forgot to mention they are quite prone to stressing out so they are a little-no handling animal

I think you need 'periodical', and you said petsmart twice. Thanks tho.
