Put them back immediately, but it's entirely possible if you've had it for a while the parents have given it up for dead and you personally are the reason this bird if going to die.

Never pick up young wild birds unless they are obviously injured, or are so young they shouldn't be out of the nest. (IE some featherless chick or something)

1hr a day isnt much exercise really, I walk my 6 month old Mastiff puppy for 20 minutes to the beach then let him sniff around on his own terms at the beach on a long line for 20 minutes then its a 20 minute walk back.

Ridgebacks will need more than that I reckon.

Generally with farm animals, it's my opinion that pointless medical bills and suffering can be eliminated if they're good for being slaughtered at that time.

I want to tame the new bird without the other one trying to bite my fingers off whenever I get close to it.

When I keep them apart he keeps calling for hours on end and the new one starts panicking for some reason.
