What kind of spider is this?
i am from Algeria north Africa.
it's ready to plow a female spider that's all i know
>>2155932
are those his balls?
>>2155969
they are pedipalps, it stores sperms like testicles but it's not "balls" in the way you think of them
Hey /an/, my doggo died a few days ago, but somehow, I don't feel sad, and I find myself to not think about him as much as I thought i would. I didn't cry when he passed away or when I buried him. Don't get me wrong. I loved him dearly and i gave him the best life i could. Have any of you guys experienced the same thing?
>>2155863
Yes, I've experienced the same exact thing.
That's the way it was meant to be, anon. Nature doesn't cry when anything dies, why should you?
>>2155866
This. He was probably old and you knew it was going to happen. Death is a normal part of reality and can't be helped, theres no point getting worked up over it.
>>2155863
could be a lot of different things
maybe it hasn't set in yet
maybe you just don't want to use the energy to grieve
maybe your dog was old and it was it's time
Have you opened your possum's chakras today, /an/?

What the heck is a possum? The only place were i've encountered them was in american video games.

JUST
Anyone know any other promising research into a cure/treatment for cat allergies?
>>2156518
Uhh... Going out on a limb here - hairless cat?
>>2156533
Possibly, but the allergen in still in their saliva when they groom. It might not help.
This is disgustng.
yeah, when I go to a library I expect the books to be free of toxoplasmosis but that's obviously not the case here.
If it's been there for six years already then leave it. Have it grandfathered in.

your new trip is more fitting maybe, but to me, you will always remain Bugsy

>mfw there's no lizard to eat it
Yeah, but there's no shortage of anti-freeze and discount steaks at wal-mart.
;^)
Thanks for the kek
>>2155776
This, although for a rat sized thing, a BB gun would do the trick too. Make sure no one's looking!
Do dogs have a sense of gratitude?
I noticed my dog was really agitated and itchy, felt her and pulled a sticker out of her fur and scratched the spot for her.
After I did, she started rubbing/rolling on me and licking me. It really seemed like she was thankful, but I'm not sure if I'm anthropomorphism or what.
>>2155578
they probably do.
both dogs and cats know who to ask for food or treats or attention. Which means they remember. And that memory isn't unpleasant.
I don't know about cats, but for dogs it's really just degrees of I KNOW THAT GUY / I DON'T KNOW THAT GUY / I LIKE THAT GUY / I DON'T LIKE THAT GUY
After seeing the same cat appearing on my lawn for the past 4 days, I sent it to SPCA this morning. I paid attention to the hrs it appeared yesterday; I saw her at 11am, 4pm and she was literally knocking my front door at 10pm. I was debating whether I should sent her away or leave her be, and I talked with my parents but they refused to share the house with the cat. The first thing I did this morning at 8am was to see if it's still here, and sure enough it's waiting under bushes. I assumed that she is homeless and took her to the organization, but I feel horrible right now. Was that a wrong decision?
>>2155342
>Was that a wrong decision?
Yes. You just got some irresponsible owner's pet killed
>>2155346
do you have a suggestion? Should I call the organization and take her back?
>>2155349
Too late bruv. The kitty is dead and the UK is free.
God save the Queen.
Hey guys, do you know which very important bird this is?
>>2155260
Looks like a turkey or a vulture. Maybe a turkey vulture?
>>2155261
Was thinking that it looks like a turkey but when I googled it, it didn't seem that way. It was strangely trusting though
Maybe it's a juvenile vulture?
Hey /an/, what type of harvestman is this? It was found in the Piedmont of North Carolina. How would one go about keeping it as a pet?
no

You live where I live.
Hedgehog thread? Headgehog thread.
>pic is mine, her name is Peppa
>>2155037
Adorable. How are they as pets? Always see the wild ones in my garden.
>>2155039
They made great pets. They can be loud on their wheels at night because they are nocturnal, but ive noticed if i bring her outside a lot and let her run around during the day, shes not as noisey or active at night. Temperament can very but they are generally pretty docile. Their quills do hurt if you try to grab them while they are scared, so maybe not the best for young children.

I was cleaning out my closet today and found my rock collection from when I was a kid. I kind of want to start collecting them again. Anyone know some good stores or places (I live in GA) I can buy or find cool rocks/minerals?
Also general rock and mineral thread.
Why are you trying to talk about rocks on the /an/ board?
Alabama has a lot of mineral deposits... There are some fossil outcrops in Chattanooga, supposedly there are shark teeth fossils in GA but havent gotten around to looking for them
Why do you like your dog pulling you along as you walk anon?
>>2154196
But my dog doesn't pull.
>his dog pulls
Looks like someone has been shit at training.
>implying my dog pulls
Nah man, but I do see a lot of this happening. I also see dogs on retractable leashes that are 7 or more feet away from their owners.
