I hate my cat's balls so much.
It stands out too much in siamese cats, his body is all white, but his dick and balls are completely black.
Like, just black, not even gradient, just big black balls that he keeps waving at me.

How has the pet industry managed to convince people that crating is actually good for dogs?
This is bait
>>2201093
No it's not.
If you do not own land don't buy a dog.

I live in an apartment and I have a border collie, one of the most active dog breeds. We manage.
My cat shits on the floor near the litter box, how can I convince him to shit inside the litter box instead? Sometimes he does it correctly but about half the time he just shits on the floor.
Picture not my cat
Buy a larger litterbox

Thanks I might try this. My mom wants to have the cat put down because of his actions.

It has ever been my aspiration to own a Malamute.
Problem: I live in Queensland, where the Summer minimum is 20 degrees and the Summer maximum is usually 35, and can get up to 45. This is not ideal.
I have read conflicting reports of how well Malamutes can cope with this. Lower your pitchforks - I am not asking permission to leave any dog under the sun for eight hours without water or shade while I go get fucked in the ass by my boss. The dog would be inside, in the airconditioning, with water. Many people say that Malamutes are fine like this, with their exercise during the cool part of the day, and I know that people do keep them in my city and the dogs don't seem to be ill.
The problem I have is that a few people recommend not doing exercise in temperatures above 20 degrees. Problematic, for a dog I would be exercising twice daily with half-hour to an hour walks each, and longer on the weekends. Other seasons would be fine but I don't want Summer to be "stay in the house and let your brain rot" for three months. Furthermore, I don't want to be doing the equivalent of locking a lion in a 10 foot cage - sure, a Malamute might survive in this climate, but can it be happy?
I am specifically asking for people with experience keeping cold weather dogs in warm climates. Opinions of other people are not required, but I can't stop you.

Get a dog better-suited for hear, anon. One that won't have to live its life on lockdown.

As long as they are not out during the hottest parts of the day for too long they should be OK. Im on my second husky and live in Texas. Summers here are brutally hot and humid. Can get 45'C+ during the hottest part of the day. I try to do most of the long exercise early in the morning and when the sun goes down. Taking her out during the afternoon pretty much to go to the bathroom but not for too long.
One big thing that you have to worry about with the heat is not just the temperature, but how hot is the ground/concrete you are walking on. The ground could be twice as hot as the temp outside. So if it's too hot for you to walk barefoot, it's too hot for them. That heat can damage their pads or even cause blisters. I walk mine a few miles early morning, small short walks during the afternoon and then a few miles when the sun goes down. As long as they are not out too long during the hottest parts, carry some water with you when you are out. They will do fine
Doggy pools and don't shave it. Does it snow there? These dogs naturally just fucking love snow. I'd feel bad to deny it to them.
Questions That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread.
Old thread hit bumplock.
My ~2.5 month old cat tries to suckle my clothes. Does this fuck up cats' teeth/jaws like it does human kids who suckle/suck on pacifiers for too long? If so, how do I get her to stop without making her dislike me or start sucking on different fabrics, like blankets?
I don't think it's because she's scared. She's the most fearless kitten I've ever encountered and I would be shocked to learn she does this out of anxiety. Furthermore, I know it's bad, but dry food is available all day and night (it's for my underweight, geriatric cat) if she wants it, so I doubt it's because she's hungry.
She very suddenly left her mother at 7 weeks, if this helps any. Thanks.
>>2197019
Feed the old cat wet kitten food, it's more calories.
A kitten's baby teeth fall out around 3 months, so she's probably teething. Give her teething toys, or a damp washcloth instead.
>>2197027
Damn, I didn't even think of teething. Thanks! I'll give the damp washcloth a go.
As for the old cat, I feed her wet food 3-4 times a day as she asks for it, and dry food is there for when I'm not there/awake to feed her. It's been very successful, but she still has a little ways to go until she's at a healthy weight again.

/herp/ officially official all purpose care sheet of wonder and magic
>sand a shit
>use a thermostat
>read all the caresheets
>set up your tank before you get your herp
>regulate temps & humidity levels prior to herp arrival
>do not fuck with (handle) your herp for at least 7 days after bringing it home and ideally wait until herp has eaten at least one meal (for snakes), two meals for lizards, frogs, etc.
>PVC tanks are way better for most applications and worth the extra money
>it is best to avoid chain pet stores when looking to purchase live animals as mass breeder suppliers are not especially careful about health and sound genetics... it often saves you money long term to spend a little extra up front to get a healthy animal

Also what's a good, fast growing nepenthes species that isn't ventricosa or alata.
>>2189782
Sanguinea
>>2189782
N. ventricosa and alata are fantastic species, there's just surprisingly few people who actually grow pure ones (and alata is almost non-existent in cultivation). Anyway there are fuckloads of beginner-friendly, easy and fast species, including: maxima, boschiana, sanguinea, spathulata, burkei, petiolata, copelandii, many more. Of course hybrids will be even faster and easier, and most of the species above can be readily found in cheap BE hybrids.
