Can you identify this for me?
>>2219291
I found it in my backyard thinking it was a seed but it turns out it's a caccoon (at least I think it is). It keeps moving around furiously with whatever is inside trying to get out. I'm thinking of maybe cracking it open to see what it is but I'm too afraid that I might kill it.
>>2219296
Fuck you nigga you got this from the dollar store. I bought some yesterday in the check out.
>>2219297
I didn't buy it, I found it in my backyard what is it?
So I'm in a position where I am to animate an animal entering a confined room through sth like a fireplace and completely loosing it's shit in the small room with said fireplace, trashing the place.
Can anyone provide video reference or at least greentext of how animals react in such a situation? Like a racoon getting in your bedroom, a bird flying through your window, a bat under your blanket, two cats fighting in your living room, etc.? What do they head for first, do they get scared or aggressive, do they make noise or go straight for a hiding place?
Sorry for killing one of the identification threads for this. Why don't you guys have a general for that btw?
depends on the animal, most only act "aggressive" because they're afraid.
what kind of animation are you doing? I took a class on animating plankton last quarter, it was amazing.
This is one of the things that never fails to make me laugh.
What kind of animal though?
Also I know this is unfortunately family guy, but it's relevant.

The spongebob character or planktok plankton?
http://creaturecast.org/?s=Lisa+Roberts
Animated krill sex video.
every goddamn summer season, without fail, some sort of bug or bird in my back yard will every night from dusk till dawn, squawk. At first I thought it was a cicada, but I figured cicadas don't live long enough to do it every damn night for 4 months. I can only describe the noise as the sound of sandpaper being rubbed onto wood. it'll make the noise usually twice and then pause, and then repeat. I wish I could get a recording, but unfortunately my phone and computer mics aren't sensitive enough. I live in the midwest if that helps. can anyone help me identify what keeps making this noise?
>>2219150
Where do you live for starters?
>>2219167
chicagoland area, out in the suburbs
>>2219175
Similar to me. I'm in NE Ohio. LeBron country.
Is it a constant sound or is there a rhythm to it?
>Mfw knowing it's not a 25 m, 150 ton badass
>try to youtube videos on prehistoric mammals
>people only care about the big ones like giant sloths, saber tooth cats, mammoths, etc
>not even any of the major prehistoric channels care about mammals
I'm pretty sad about the lack of marine reptiles and more monstery looking whales. Id be fine with smaller ones. Dolphins are too cute.
Sea turtles, sea snakes, marine iguanas and the occasional crocodile are cool but it's just not the same.
So what were these things supposed to be?
lmao why
dank
>>2219040
Why wouldn't you?
>>2219040
You are going to need sand to go with that.
Lets have a thread discussing puppy biting and chewing, because I'm about to either beat the shit out of this dog, or give it to a shelter if this biting stuff doesn't stop.
What the fuck do people do to get a puppy to stop biting everyone and everything?
>>2218952
>puppy
nigga it's a puppy, give it time
>>2218952
>puppy
How about giving us a better approximation of its age? 6 years? 6 months? 6 minutes?
>>2218954
3 months. 14 weeks old specifically.
I was in my backyard today an I see this insect wriggling around on the ground. Does anyone know what it is? I suspect it's some kind of termite. I appreciate any help.
>>2218869
some kind of horse bettle.
>>2218883

Ants are amazing to watch.

Just discovered this nigga yesterday, his whole channel is amazing.
>>2219219
Glad to see that I am not the only one to stumble across this dude recently! I spent 2 hours watching his awesome setups yesterday.
>>2219219
I used to know this guy in person. He's really cool and very serious about the hobby. I remember when he started his company with home-made nests. Came a very long way with it since then. It was six or seven years ago
Is it fine to have spiders roaming about your house? I live in an old run down shit show of a house so it's fucking impossible to keep the little shits out.
It's mostly daddy long legs, but these days there are a lot of big chunky brown hairy looking faggots starting to pop up as well. Some kind of small, but some can get a pretty impressive fucking wingspan going on.
Usually I wouldn't give a shit but they are particularly keen on worming their way around my sleeping area and I'm just getting a little tired of scanning every inch of my bed before I go to sleep every night then hoping one of the autistic little faggots doesn't crawl into bed with me then get spooked and take a nibble out of my dick.
it's hard to find a picture online that resembles them since they are quite varied in size and shape sometimes, but I guess the bigger ones sort of kind of look like this
I've heard they like to crawl up into bedsheets sometimes
>>2218512
They are fine so long as they stay away from your sleeping area. They are an excellent way to control the fly population in old houses.
>>2218515
Well them nesting around my bed area is the problem.
Would they know to just fuck off and not crawl on the massive dude sleeping or are they as stupid as I think they are?
>>2218512
>get spooked and take a nibble out of my dick.
unless you live in australia, I wouldnt worry about spider bites. It's just creepy but neither painful nor dangerous
Horses ar so beautiful!

no, they're destructive invasive pests.
it's just life :)
Cheetos.
CHEETOS ARE SO BEAUTIF- ... oh
nevermind
I have a garden.
I want to keep deer and hares outside the garden, and my cat within it.
Would a net like in the pic keep a cat inside? It would be about 2 meters high to keep the deer outside.
>>2218429
I think you would have to keep some sort of overhang at the top, since cats are known to climb quite high. Similar to barbed wire fences in prisons and stuff.
PS: not saying you're making a prison for your cat. It's just effective at keeping them confined.
Pic is my cat 5 years ago. Only one I have on my iPod.
>>2218429
Deer yes.
Cat, no.
>>2218429
A deer will fuck that net up if it wants to get in.
Claim your animal bros.
No hate, just love
Claiming best bro
Enjoy your Chlamydia-ridden retards (smooth brains).
Meanwhile my bro can punch through glass.
I just want my dog back.
Is there a greater bro in the animal kingdom?
I think not.
Please
where is here?
looks like itty bitty marsupial
>>2218274
El Salvador. We only got rats and possums so that's why I was very confused about what this little guy was.
>>2218256
Reminds me of a sugar glider kinda, I wonder if it was a pet that got loose.
i found a dog, i think she's a poodle or a bichon frise mutt
anyway i took her to the vet and got her shots and the vet told me she was spayed already but i left her with my friend's dog who wasn't neutered (he is now, he is a rescue and needed to gain weight before the surgery)
and i think she got knocked up
WHAT DOOO?
if she's spayed she can't get pregnant, dude.
why do you think she's pregnant?
>spayed
>I think she's knocked up
She literally does not have a fucking reproductive tract. It's not like with getting your tubes tied where freak occurances can still get through, the whole thing is just gone.
>>2218208
she's fatter and her teats are swole and i can feel the puppies inside her
i think the vet was wrong about her being spayed? how do they know if it's been done?
What is the eye arrangement of the Missulena genus? Need it for an upcoming drawing
