How do you get over losing a pet when you can't adopt another one?
she's not dead. Had to give her away to a family friend. She's happy but I can't see her. I can't have pets at my current place.
When people talk about a pet loss, they usually refer to animals who can form meaningful, emotional bonds with human beings, ie dogs.
Now that your cat is gone I would suggest getting treatment for your brain parasites. The sadness you think you're feeling will subside.

Dogs suck though
When I had to get rid on my cat of 10 years to move in the dorms at my uni I helped myself cope by getting a stuffed animal to snuggle when I missed her and to sleep with since she used to sleep with me. I also had some cute pictures framed so I could remember her in those tough times. Good luck OP. Go visit sometimes if you can
Dog boots.
Are they an essential for people who have to walk their dogs on hot sidewalks (or sidewalks covered in salt)? Or is this coddling your dog?
They have their uses.
Don't walk your dog on hot sidewalks or salt.
>>2243678
I don't see why you'd "have" to walk your dog on hot sidewalks but if you feel like you must then yes, they are essential.
How to get rid of ladybugs invading my house during fall/winter?

if they're already inside use a vacuum cleaner
Get a manbug - preferably named Chad - to handle it.

I currently have a 4 foot vivarium housing my bearded dragon who will likely pass away soon due to old age. Can an anon give me some suggestions for invertebrates that would be suitable to live in here afterwards? Anything is appreciated
Giant African Land Snails are pretty great (unless you're in America where they're illegal).
That would be big enough to house two which is nice since they do prefer to be with other snails, though it means they will breed and you'll have to destroy the eggs somehow before they're near hatching or sell them after they hatch.

Any bat bros around? I found one outside of my work. Currently 5:40a.m. In Missouri. It's only 70 out, the cold air has yet to set in. Is this little guy resting? Animal rescue don't give a fuck
It looks like a hamster with wings. Refusing the urge to cuddle it, 10/10 prepared to contract rabies
Update: abort mission bat has flown away
It does look cute as fuck.

My panties are really in a bunch over it actually, I wish you hadn't brought it up. #triggered
Why the fuck does /an/ hate cats now. Has the general attitude on kitters changed or is it like 2 or 3 faggots who don't like cats and shit post in every thread that has cats.
Also fug u shitters, kitters are great.
cats are glorified rats and their owners are nutjobs.
/an/ hates outdoor cats because they fuck up the ecosystem and their owners are parasite-riddled morons that try to justify their irresponsible care with "but it's natural!" or anecdotal evidence.
>>2242549
I can agree with that. I dont think cats should be outdoor animals. They are perfectly fine as indoor pets.
But if they're using that as an excuse to hate all cats, well thats just silly.
My friend is getting a very cute kitten soon
I am slowly trying to persuade him to name the cheeky meower, "cabbage" as I feel it is the greatest pet name going at the moment
What think /an?
Should he name the catto cabbage, or should he name it a normie name like Keith?
>>2242460
Name it garbage, because he got a disgusting shitty pet.
>>2242461
Shut up. Indoor cats are gr8.
name it toxoplasmosis.
Hey /an/,
Any animals that don't give a fuck about noise (like from an instrument being played in a small flat) and make good pets? Ideally, I'd like something that is capable of a mutual bond, so something like a spider or a reptile probably wouldn't work, I think. Unless I'm completely misjudging the emotional capacities of spiders.
Thanks!
Pic related. It's a dog with noise-cancelling headphones on. I'd rather not get a pet before trying that, though.
animals don't have emotion, so get a girlfriend instead.

Already have gf, not the same tbqh.

I kinda like the blue glofish Danios, something about the color comes off as not too tacky and still attractive. Doesn't even glow vividly under the light
Otherwise the rest look like fucking highlighters and the poor mans way of having colorful reef fish

You cunts dont give a shit about global warming do you? You have the power to reduce your carbon footprint and you still do nothing. Do some research on what you can do to reduce your carbon footprint.
Fuck you selfish humans.
