Lol nope

Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Kanga and Roo are plush toys so they aren't part of the food chain

Owl -> Rabbits, Hedgehogs, Mice, Squirrels
Hedgehogs -> Mice
Rabbits, Squirrels and Mice -> Herbivores

Can plants die of old age?

If you were to put a plant in a theoretical environment where there is nothing that will eat or otherwise destroy it, and infinite perfect amounts of sunlight, water, and nutrients, would it eventually die?
7 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>2244422
depends on the plant. some are only meant to live for a little while. others, like many trees, will theoretically live forever.
>>
Yes, they do.
>>
>>2244423
Trees do not live forever who the fuck told you that.
>>2244422
While there are some plants that can seemingly divide and clone itself for an infinite period of time, most plants, like animals have built in biological senescence.

I have a half german shepherd half australian shepherd puppy, 4 months old.

How do I get her to stop biting hands/feet/wrists?

My only experience with dogs were a Yorkie when I was growing up, and a Beagle when I moved out but the Beagle lives with my sister now. Neither dog had a biting problem.

I know G. Sheps have the second strongest bite force of all dogs, so I'd prefer to nip the nipping issue while her bites are still relatively soft.

Any tips?

are they actually trying to emulate a human smile?
if not why do they do this?
who here has a dog that does this?
did you train it to or did it just do it naturally

my dog does it naturally but only when he's reaallllly happy and excited and i've never been able to snap a picture of it

also post dog smile pictures

It took years just to figure out why dogs spin around before taking a shit, so good luck figuring this one out.
>>
>>2244317
Dog display emotion by body language not their mouth.

Dogs have no clue what you smiling even means.
>>
>>2244345
So your face isn't part of your body, Anon?

What a good simple pet for a 6 year old? Maintenance is mostly going to be up to the adults obviously, and interactions will be supervised.

We have a dog, but do to the dog need having grown up around small children, we aren't going to let them be alone together, and probably only supervised playtime outside.

A Nintendog. Seriously. Maybe a stuffed animal that looks like their in-game pet if they really need something to cuddle.

Let them have that for a couple years and make them play with it daily to see if they're responsible enough (spoilers: they probably aren't because they're just a kid) before you give them a live animal to play with.

A virtual copy of the newest game is like, $6.
>>
>>2244294
Or get rid of the kid.

>>2244294
That's actually a really good idea, thanks anon.

I had a few of those in my room once when I left the window open and left for a week. I poked one and about 15 half alive house spiders fell out. A wasp came in and started picking them up. I wanted to burn my house down.

Ensign Wasp. Harmless to you, but reak havoc on cockroaches, so, they're extremely good to have around if you have a cockroach problem.

reminder.

btw, why arent these fellas common as pets? the cost it would imply?

because people can't even take care of themselves, so they wouldn't be able to take care of a highly intelligent aquatic mammal.

Cockatoos hurt themselves when you don't give them enough attention. imagine what an animal like a dolphin would do when you obviously fail to give him the interaction it needs.

Dog getting picky. Wat do?
I read I shouldn't give her any treat for a few days and time her food. Anything else?
She gets Acana cobb chicken and greens these days, and liked the taste fine when switching and for a few days afterwards.

get two packs of dog food , switch inbetween.

>dog being picky

Try feeding her slightly less.
>>
>>2243844
Give her food, tell her to eat, wait 15 minutes, whether she ate it or not take the bowl away. Do this every feeding, feed strictly according to a schedule, two times a day, always. Don't worry if she doesn't eat a couple of days, she will eat eventually. Never give her anything from your table. Don't give her too much food. You can give her treats for being a good girl, it's not a problem.
