what if I make a sweater out of it?
would you wear a sweater of your doggo's hair while walking your doggo?
what would your doggo say about this?
That would be itchy as fuuuuuuuuck.
However there is a video of some adventurous diyers doing just that.

>would you wear a sweater of your doggo's hair while walking your doggo?
maybe, would depend on how it smells. if it smells too much like wet doggo then no. but if it can be washed til it smells ok, then I'd consider it.
>what would your doggo say about this?
he'd probably say "woof woof"
Dog wool belts are marketed towards sick old men in certain countries, should be really warm. See if etsy has any meaningful results.

Is there any problem with feeding a guinea pig a whole dandylion?
>>2273332
Guinea pigs fucking suck
>>2273348
and you're an autistic BDSM kink whore who thinks its comment is somehow related to the thread.
tldr: git oudda here
>>2273332
I have heard you should not feed the flower but never learned why. It might just be a retard filter like with the raw feeding.
Every night. Every single night i turn my lights off and some faggot bugs start flying at my computer's screen like birds flying at windows. They come out of nowhere and they're SO MANY AND ANNOYING. As i type this, the little shits are flying at my computer and walking on the keyboard.
They're brown-ish (head is much darker than body), long-ish, have soft bodies, very long wings for their body size and six legs, and are also longer than flies but have less bulk. They don't taste like anything, but their abdomens do have a squishy texture.
Pic related, they look NOTHING like any bug on this pic.
This idiot got into my soda and i could take a picture of it
>>2273302
Do they have long antennas?
I don't know if this is the right board for this, but does anyone know where I could buy amber with bugs inside?
I wanted to get a small piece of amber for my niece for Christmas, she's super into bugs but I have no idea how to find this shit without getting ripped off. I see mineral thread and other naturalist stuff so I think I'm in the right place. I'm in Canada as well so someplace that won't anally devastate me with shipping would be ideal.
Can anyone help me out?
Just get a house fly and put it in Jello then freeze it. Problem solved.

No idea bro...maybe at rural areas in countries where conifer forests are abundant. Maybe the locals have collected them.

I am waiting for a service dog but it won't be another two years I work remotely so money is not an issue.
I have PTSD and are looking for a pet that is quiet and loving. Quiet is because loud sounds trigger my PTSD I love all animals and go to a park and hand feed birds, chipmunks and squirrels but I can not do it all the time because when my PTSD is bad I can not go outside by myself.
What kind of pet would you recommend?
Pic related its my favorite breed of bird to hand feed.
definitely a cat, they're one of the easiest pets and they can be great companions. otherwise I'd recommend a couple of rats- some of them are very loving and fun to watch.
Nuthatches are cute. CUTE!

My only problem that I have had hamsters before and they were noctural and really loud on their wheel even with a new wheel.
Cats I have a serve allergy to
Hey /an/ons, this might be a stupid question,
But is there any particular reason why they don't introduce kakapos into the pet trade?
They'd obviously stop being critically endangered,
Since all other parrots make fine pets (if you have the knowledge and time for it) I don't see why kakapos wouldn't. They're also flightless so minimal risk of them escaping.
So why not really?
>>2273079
>So why not really?
My guess is that there are other reasons for it, but I am thinking that they don't breed well in capitivity.
But one shagged a human bean, so not sure.
>>2273079
The males makes that enormously loud WWWWOPP mating call so that would be undesirable in a household pet.
Kakapos do breed well in captivity and there are reports of Māori owning them as pets before European contact.
The problem is there just ain't many of them. If you give someone a breeding pair that's 0.016% of all kakapos alive. Maybe in fifty years the option can be viable, but you really would prefer all the kakapos alive today to just stay in the wild.
Caught recently in South India.. reported to attack and eat humans and other animals.
wtf is that

WHAT THE FUCK AM I LOOKING AT.
have any of you ever felt enlightened, relaxed, or any different at all from meditating? not just physically, but mentally as well. has it ever changed your way of thinking?
quiet the mind and the rest will follow.
silence has a very inconspicuous wisdom to it
not to project, but if you are having trouble, you may want to reconsider your angle of attack, so to speak.
is it monumentally life changing? not usually but sometimes if you want something bad enough... will it make you a buddha or a god or solve all your problems? no. but in this culture of overstimulation, where memes(read: self replicating thoughts) literally battle for our mental strongholds and the most viral tends to stick the strongest, any, literally any time we can take to get away from that and wash out that cultural sewer and recalibrate the self to its own standards is time very well spent.
done 'properly', will it increase quality of life? absolutely, but YMMV depending on how programmed one is and how much they remember pre-programming.
some people say meditation is spiritual, and i certainly have had some pretty far out experiences, but in my opinion its actually one of the most human things a person can do, as we are just little tendrils of that great, vast cosmic silence in the end, anyways.

NAH FUCK THE RULES MAN
ones and zeroes dont discriminate!
Hi guys, so I adopted a doggo and he basically is super scared, shy and traumatized.
What can I do to help him gain some confidence? Or time will help him gain that? Thanks.
Not enough information posted. Dogs age, abused? etc
>>2272883
Dog is 2 years old.
Abuse by being beaten, no food, no water , no comfort , no love.
>>2272887
He is also very afraid of loud noises , cars etc . At night he's too scared to sleep alone so he comes to my bed.
How bad of an idea is it to keep a LSG in an apartment in NYC? I'm close to the park if that means anything.
>>2272815
It's pretty retarded.
How big of an apartment? I keep two cats, a 20 pound dog, and 50 pound dog in a 750sqft condo and things never feel cramped. Obviously if you live in a 450 sqft efficiency, its a bad idea. But a modestly sized 2 bedroom would be fine.
So long as you are willing to give it good exercise with two walks a day things will be fine. LGDs tend to be couch potatoes once they get a hit older.
>>2272871
doesn't feel cramped but i guarantee it smells like a box of shit
Post yer dog

Shit it posted sideways.
Why are small dogs always the worst behaved?
Napoleon complexes. They have to be meaner, louder and shittier because they are small in a big world. And a lot of them don't really get treated like dogs so they dont understand why they should abide by rules different from their humans.
They're tiny and can't do any damage, so their owners don't take it seriously when they snarl and bite on a level that would get big dogs put down.
I remember dating a chick and she had a super misbehaved corgi she'd keep locked in her room whenever i came over. One time when let it out and surprised me and it made a bee line for me and started snarling and nipping at my ankles. I was inexperienced with dogs at the time so I kicked the shit out of it and it ran away. When I asked her why she did that she said she wanted to see how I would react and was hoping I'd be able to calm it down.
Fucking psycho cunt I left her soon thereafter.

The largest sea animal is the blue whale.
There could be who knows what down in the deep ocean, but nothing -that- big.
