Don't think like that anon. I can tell you love her more than anything in the world.
My dogs refuse to use their beds. Sometimes they will get on mine but rarely they do. They just wanna sleep in the middle of the hardwood floor.
Even the cat only uses his bed for sitting on it to look out the window. Which makes me sad because after they weren't using their expensive ass store bought beds I fucking sewed them some like a fag and they still rather the floor.

>dog is completely happy
That's all that matters, don't look too much in to it. Your dog would be happy laying in dirt as long as you're there.
Idk what this is, native to Maryland apparently.
a robber fly species

some type of robber fly (asilidae)

What these two said. Don't kill it, It might look nasty but it's harmless to humans and hunts things that are actually harmful to us
Would human semen be harmful to frogs and amphibians?

Same. Took months to finally see the pair of pileated woodpeckers that were demolishing a huge tree infested with beetles.
They're really active in the morning like. I always heard them since they sound like howling monkeys but I was hyped as fuck I pulled over and got to see them about 15 feet away.
I've found owl pellets and have heard them here but I have yet to see them.

I've had Bryar in my life for the past six months of my life, his first birthday falling on July 2nd, a day after my own, and his presence in my life has been a huge blessing. I'm a former (self) destructive socialite who has turned from toxic circles in exchange for a life being this beautiful, loyal guys father/friend. It has been a long difficult path socializing and training him In every respect (obedience and parlor tricks alike) but our relationship, short of that I have with God and my girlfriend, is the best thing I have going on in my life.
Cane Corso general, share your photos and experiences with the breed!
Here's some few shots of my guy.

are species with "r" reproductive strategy less monogamous and more promiscuous than species having "K" reproductive strategy?
>>2468654
R-type reproductive species don't typically have (or require) bonded pairs, since bonded pairs dont really confer a fitness advantage when your reproductive strategy is "shit out a bunch of eggs/seeds that hatch into independent orgamisms that can immediately care for themselves."
You're basically asking if shit like fish, trees, and dandelions are monogamous.

how the FUCK do you get into a situation like that?
I mean there are literally thousands of ways to not get into this and if it does happen for some reason just as many ways to get out of this, like for example just dropping to the floor+rolling away or letting yourself fall back+side really quickly.
the video of it showed it went on for like 20 fucking seconds, he must have enjoyed it
I've posted a picture of my dog several times here and I've gotten a better idea of what he his each time, so I'm gonna try again. I found him as a stray back in February, he was not neutered, has no collar, but had very clean teeth, was extremely friendly (unlike many stray dogs who will run away as soon as i go near them. I live in the country so a lot unwanted pets get dropped off). He's extremely energetic, super cuddly and touchy, and agile as fuck. He's also pretty damn clever.
From what I've gathered he is possibly a mix between some certain breeds:
Doberman
Pit
Kelpie
Kelpie are really damn rare in Kansas so I have hard time believing one got bred with a mutt in the middle of Kansas. Any one have any ideas?
>>2468621
He's approx 60lbs, and about a year and half old
>>2468621
neuter him you fuck

Already did
Hey guys, was wondering if any amateur biologists could help me out?
Could anyone identify the name/species of deer this statue is modeled after?
At least from this angle, it sort of looks like the antlers slope too heavily forward and downwards to match with the look of any particular deer species that I'm familiar with.
Because of the facial features and the placements of the antler spikes, my guess is that it's a stylized/exaggerated rendition of a white-tailed deer.
>>2468618
Whitetails will often have atypical racks like that, but the lack of color is throwing me off whatever species it's supposed to be. Ears kinda remind me of mule deer.
>>2468660
>>2468667
Thanks for the reply guys
To be clear, the reason Im asking is because of the downward sloped antlers, I find them quite interesting
But what you're telling me is it could either be,
One, some sort of abnormality in one specific deer
Or two, an artistic work of fiction
In either case, that kind sucks for me because I really like the way the antlers look and I wanted to find some more examples.
Just in case there is a species out there where these antlers are the norm, I'll say that this image was captured from a youtube video filmed in a French lodge

hounds should be divided into scenthounds/sighthounds because they're very different
also missing spaniels
>>2468409
Lhasas are not terriers or spitz
>this gets camel pussy wet
Fun fact: that's not it's tongue. It's an inflatable sac called the dulla, which male dromedary camels inflate and whip out to impress the ladies.

Can anyone honestly help me figure out what this is exactly? It almost looks like a really small cockroach but I can't quite tell.
From what I can tell it mostly jumps. I've seen like 2 or 3 of these in the past few days. Florida, if it matters.
Here it is upside down
And a size comparison, sorry for the blur.
>>2468362
Not a roach. Too blurry but i think a beetle
What's your honest opinion about this?
>>2468354
just because dogs have a superior sense of smell does not imply that they have a weakened sense of sight. In fact aside from color vision dogs have a visual acuity as good as or better than humans.
they cannot see their own farts. They can certainly smell them, just like I can.
*braaaaaaaaaaaaap*
>>2468354
If thats true then my dog is blinded by his own farts, honestly his farts smell like a sulfur mine
Can someone please ID this thing. Found it in my new bag of rice.
Take it to the vet
>>2468188
Some kind of fly larva.
You got some pantry moths. Congratulations, enjoy finding them in anything edible in plastic or fabric bags (they can chew through those)
