What happens if you treat a dog like shit, maybe to the point of beatings, but still keep it well fed with delicious and healthy food every day
Will it like you or hate you
>Will it like you or hate you
It will likely fear you.
Humans might see you for the piece of shit you are, if that is your intentions OP.

It would love you when you had food and be scared shitless when you paid attention to it without food. Unless you connected pain with food. Then he'd prolly be fucking confused at the same time
Guys, I just adopted a black cat from Petco. He was declawed by the previous pet owners and now I don't know what to do when it comes to toys or things for the cat. I am a first time pet owner and I need help in the types of things that my cat COULD possibly like or enjoy. I want him to have an easy transition from shelter to my home.
I have kept him for about 3 days already. The same day I adopted him I kept him in my room all night. On the second day I let him roam around the entire house during the day while I went to college. Now I just leave the door open at all times so he can come and go when he would like.
Pic related. That is him.
Look up cat littler for declawed cats, get it
They have a hunting instinct and love to play, get some feathers on a stick on a string
I have a Bombay cat that found me in the snow when she was a kitten
I have a declawed kittie that we found at a shelter. She is so sweet. Your heart will break as he attempts to scratch things and doesn't. I don't have any problems using regular litter but she prefers non-clumping because she likes to shit then run. They still play with all toys and she is my best mouse hunter, even with no claws.
Enjoy kittie! You are doing great so far. Enjoy all the love!
>declawed cats
get some shoe string or a laser pointer and play with kitty every day, this will bond you and also give kitty exercise and comfort in new surroundings
Which would in a fight, Anomalocaris or Eurypterus?
>>2323761
Euteryptus, because the Anomalacaris has gliding structures that the Euteryptus could destroy to greatly lessen the Anomalacaris' mobility
>>2323761
Eurypterus, no problem.
>>2323761
Also, Eurypterus was significantly bigger
>tfw my cat is in heat
Sucks to be you. Enjoy your nightly wailing.
Get it spayed, faggot.

Time to buy some cotton swabs.
you just made this same thread not long ago.
HOW MANY CATS DO YOU HAVE??
I need help /an/. I just noticed that my bird's beak is bleedinh, but there doesn't seem to be any major Crack. What do? Should I rush to a vet or wait and seem
>>2323525
Maybe it cut the inside of its mouth on a cracking open a seed or something.
I know fuck all about birds though.
>>2323525
I'd say try giving it some food such as seeds or something and see how it reacts. If it's reluctant to eat, the beak may be in pain and it could be serious. A lot of "could"s and "maybe"s, though.
>>2323525
get ready to bury your bird OP, because it's a goner
Our cat is soon going to be moving away to a new home with us, and sadly she will have to leave her cat best friend behind, as well as access to a garden. I am worried that she may find her new home boring or not settle.
Is it a good idea to get her a new cat friend? Or will they most likely not get on?
It is not an option to keep them together unfortunately

You're a fucking idiot if hear "access to a garden" and automatically assume it's going to be an outside cat.

Guys what plant is this? My goat was eating this specifically while grazing and overnight died of pains due to bloat. There is a lot of it here in Southern California and I would like to know if it is poisonous or if my goat got unlucky with indigestion. I am worried for my other goats and pigs please help. Exif data still available if you want a specific location.

I thought I had my dog potty trained. How wrong I was.
Crated him at night and would check the blankets in the morning. Always dry and stain-free. Awesome.
Noticed while cleaning the floor that on the other side of the crate there was dried pee. About 2 feet away from the crate. Must have happened sometime during the day.
Keep seeing more pee everyday despite him not being let out of sight during the day. Huh.
Come to find out he was shooting his pee out of the crate every night, with deligent aim to get it as far away as possible.
Great. Will putting a blanket around it fix this? Or do dogs only care if they are actually laying in wet pee? Do I need to use something that will bounce back the stream, like plastic sheets?
>>2322182
Yup, wall that crate off. Or get a plastic crate that has the ventilation at the top and put a wall in front of the metal door.
Also, what a little shit lol.
>>2322182
I literally don't understand how people find potty training dogs hard.
I have always used those smell pads, vastly praised the pup when it goes on them, and edge them towards the door and eventually outside. Three dogs so far this has worked on.
Saying that we don't crate ours for the night or day.
>>2322247
>pads
I just took my pup out every hour and praised her for doing it outside.
Didn't take long for her to whine at the door when she needed out.
Can anyone tell me what sort of spider this is?
The bastard was found crawling around in bed last night with me...
Sorry for the shitty picture.
Nothing dangerous at all, if thats your worry.
Maybe a giant house spider?

Wolves and dogs can breed and their offspring will be fertile. Do scientists still consider them to be different species? Why?
>>2321397
They don't.
Wolves are Canis lupus, dogs are Canis lupus, subspecies familiaris.
>>2321399
/thread
>>2321397
They're considered a subspecies of wolves, I believe. (Canis lupus familiaris) The wolf species that dogs evolved from are long gone, though.
This is my puppy Mason. He's German Shepherd, Husky, and Shar-pei.
He's also too young to be away from his mother
>>2324710
You managed to get all 3 of the worst breeds, but for the price of one! All I have to say is good fucking luck OP. Maybe they'll cancel out.

GSDs are awesome
My betta Carl lives in a 2 gallon tank, eats 4-5 pellets daily, no heater/filter, gets a bi-weekly water change (some old water stays), and he's 2 years old.
I've never changed this routine, but recently he's been acting oddly. Laying at the bottom, or sitting on a plant with his head out of water. I know the ammonia isn't too high because I changed the water. He's still making bubble nests. His color is still vibrant. Any ideas? Is Carl just getting old?
>>2324242
Yeah he's getting old and tired of your shit. Your neglect finally got the best of him. Sorry mate.
>>2324242
He needs a heater and a filter.
Bettas can make it 4 or 5 years, so 2 year isn't old and it's not just age.
>>2324265
Wrong thread?
What's /an/'s opinion of Cesar Millan?
Do you think his methods work?
I've been doing a lot of research on positive vs dominance training. There aren't many videos of rehabilitation of highly aggressive dogs through positive reinforcement, and the ones that are on youtube never seem to be as aggressive as the dogs Cesar has on his shows (most positive videos work on fear aggression while Caser focuses on possession and dominance aggression).
I just want to know other peoples thoughts on the two methods since dog trainers seem to hate the opposite side and are always biased.
>>2323758
I wish we'd stop having these threads all the time. I feel like there's always a new one made just the day after the previous one 404d.
