If he could talk he'd say thanks for everything. Dogs have a short life span, it sucks. But he got to spend it with you, and I'm sure he had a wonderful time. And really, that's all that mattered to him. You'll always miss him, but it gets better.

depends what you consider higher quality.
cat food has more protein and less filler, but feeding that much protein to a dog will kill it. They're not adapted to handle straight meat diets, their kidneys fail.
so yeah, cat food has more meat, but that's for a good reason.

I got a nice new male veiled chameleon about 2 days ago. In the pet shop (which is very reputable) he was big, proud, and a pretty nice mint green. Now he looks frail and dying even though I have taken very good care of him. What do? I spent almost 300 dollars on that thing...

Your cham is stressed out from the move. It'll take a while. Leave it alone, do not attempt to handle it. Just keep up the tank maintanence and feeding and your cham will settle in eventually. It is completely normal for them to refuse food for several days up to a couple weeks after a move as well.

Spring is here and for the first time in a long time an incredibly aggressive male cardinal has moved in around my house.
He sits in a bush just inside my neighbors property line but incredible close to the wall of the room where I sleep and he's been waking me up every day anywhere from 6AM to 8 nd then continuing to do a rapidfire noisy beeping the whole day, even into the night when you'd figure it'd take a breather. He's also started attacking the screens of my homes back porch where I keep my sun conure and cockatiel in the day, and a constant banging is heard and my birds are spazzing out.
I don't wanna kill the little mohawk dope, pretty sure there's a law against it to, but I do want to fend him off without having to buy an owl statue or something (which I've heard doesn't work) and release him far away.
Any suggestions on what to do?

Boy it sure doesn't work. The little shit made me spend money on a fucking statue and it didn't even have the decency to be scared a little bit. You might want to invest in ear plugs and just increase the volume on your alarm clock if you use one, that's what I had to do.

Are there any animals that naturally like spicy food?
Like most of them seem to gravitate toward sweet things like fruit or savory like raw meat. But I can't think of an animal that if you encountered it in nature and set down a bowl of salsa in front of it that it would gobble it up.
Why do animals not like spicy food? It's delicious.

Cat keeps pooping outside the litter box and puking around the house. Vet says nothing's wrong and he's not sick. Earlier I saw him about to poop on the floor, so I moved him to the box and he ran out and shit somewhere else. What do I do?

A jury of 12 found that Petco was not negligent or liable in the death of the boy
The jury found that Petco did enough to warn the Pankey family of the possible risks and dangers of owning a pet rat
His grandmother bought the animal for the 10-year-old because he wanted a male rat to 'marry' the female rodent he already had. They picked out 'Alex' together at a Petco store in Carmel Ranch.
Only two weeks after purchasing the animal from the pet chain, Aidan grew gravely ill and two days after showing flu-like symptoms, he died. The CDC determined his death was caused by rat-bite fever from handling his new rat.
The Pankeys' lawyer went as far as to say Petco and pet supplier Barney's Pets knew some rats were infected but didn't alert customers to the danger, reported the San Diego Union Tribune.
Part of the reason for their filing of the claim was to raise awareness that the company doesn't test the potentially sick rats it allows customers to buy.
According to the CDC, people can contract rat-bite fever from bites or scratches from infected rodents, such as rats, mice and gerbils, or even just by handling an animal with the disease without a bite or scratch.
It can also be contracted by consuming food or drink contaminated with the bacteria. It is not spread from person to person.
Antibiotics, such as penicillin, are highly effective at treating rat-bite fever, and it is rarely fatal, according to the CDC.
Sharon Pankey, Aidan's grandmother:
'If you buy a rat from Petco, you can request they be tested for rat-bite fever. I never knew that,' Sharon Pankey said.
