Hello, i posted about a mushroom about 6 hours ago, i have been to the hospital, with a sample and they are now monitoring my vitals
Ama mates
It was actually a amatoxin mushroom
You mean this one? >>>2365707
Nice going, retard.
ITT: Retarded breeds of dog
actually the owners are retarded and not the dogs.
poodles are good dogs but for some reason attract the most idiotic people.
Poodles look just fine when their owners don't give them a ridiculous show trim. From what I've understood, the breed is pretty intelligent and capable, too.

IT BEGINS
My other dog (a corgi) lives with my parents and literally lives only to eat. He's a smart bastard who pretends to love you for food. If you put down ANYTHING it will be gone in 2 minutes.
My current dog on the other hand seems to love me more than his food. I know it's not the brand because he's done this with all different types of dog food, and when he's hungry he scarfs it all down. But sometimes he will entirely skip a breakfast or dinner (he is fed twice a day), which is completely insane to me having had the previous experience with my other dog.
Is this normal? Everything else about him is healthy. Beautiful coat, consistent poop quality (although they are less frequent when he does skip meals), and up to date on shots etc.
Pic related
it's not unusual, but i wouldn't say it's normal. as long as he's healthy, i wouldn't worry about it.
have you tried giving him less food?
>>2375591
Usually I give him around 1/2 a cup to 1/4 a cup less than what the bag says as per vet instructions and because i know those bags are just trying to sell more food.
I could try reducing that a little more and see how it goes.
But yeah he's healthy though so I guess it's okay. I'll see what the vet says next checkup.
Try reducing the amount of food you give him, this sounds like a dog who isn't quite as eager to eat because he is overfed (not that I am saying he is fat, he looks at a healthy weight). Some dogs can eat until you can roll them and others are a little more conservative and only eat when they are hungry. I wouldn't worry but see if he becomes more eager if you cut back a little on the amount you offer.
Why do other animals likes to chill around capybaras?
>>2375186
it's strange
>>2375186
Maybe they are anally very warm and perhaps do not generally show signs of being a threat.
Perhaps they produce an odor that attracts other creatures.
What if they have an odor that does the opposite, at least against mosquitoes. Thus animals use them as repellant.
Possibly all of the above.

TYPO
>Maybe they are ACTUALLY very warm and perhaps do not generally show signs of being a threat.
The typo just made it weird...
Post cool examples of color mutations here.

How do people here feel about housepets been driven over?
one less outdoor cat
>>2374983
If they are cats I don'r really mind.
Cats die everywhere it's insane. Everytime I see a cat.
It's fucking dead. What's wrong qith them
On the streets on the park, over a wall. Under a tree
Wtf. What's wrong with cats? Do they just die in random places?
I've never found a dog dead anywhere
But who really cares. Cats are shit anyway. But cats are not at fault. Cat owners are the worst of real life
>>2375046
Though had it been a dog i would probably had taken it home (4 am so) and then take it to a vet for cremation or something like that. But yeah cats are fucking stupid.
Hey /an/, just wondering what kind of trees are shown in the background of this pic.
>>2374907
Pine. Location would be a huge help.
>>2374913
i dont know, not my pic, all i know is its somewhere in the western US
Pinus ponderosa
Is there any way we can save them?
>>2374833
Somehow convince an entire group of people that keratin won't fix their peckers?
>>2374847
They're protected by armed guards. The problem right now is how to get their numbers up from 3 to something not horrifyingly low.
genocide nogs
genocide chinks
preserve their DNA for a more compassionate era (lol) when we have the resources and technology to resurrect recently-extinct species
Found this in my garage how do I save it
>>2374808
Unless he's actually injured, find the nest and put him back. Or if you can't find the nest, make a fake one and put it near where you found him.
If he's actually injured, you need to find a wildlife rehab near you and get him to them.
Seems to be in good health wings flapped find seemed very calm when I picked it up, We knew of an abandoned nest and I tried to put it into it but he jumped out enthusiasticly when I put it in parents seem to be circling though it could be wishful thinking so I made my self scarce I really hope it makes it
>>2374819
It still looks too fluffy to me, but most baby birds do go through a stage of leaving the nest while still not being ready to fly and just bob around on the ground for a while while the parents watch. Maybe he's just an early bloomer or something, but his wing feathers look developed.
He is 12 weeks old border collie I got him from a farmer in Perthshire, Scotland this morning. Any Border Collie, or similar breed, owners here ?
He is snoozing in his cage just now he goes in there of his own volition so I assume he slept in something similar at the farm. He's a big chunky boy for his age. Booked in for last vaccination this Monday.
>>2374652
Make sure you exercise him regularly or he'll get bored and destroy your stuff.
Border collies are very intelligent and energetic and will find ways to entertain themselves if they don't have anything to do.

Call him Lil' Man
this was my cat, Tommy.
My family hails from a small island but had to move to the mainland when the school out there closed. we still have property and still vacation out there.
it's just a massive, beautiful place, minimal housing and loads of cool nature, and Tommy was an outdoor cat to begin with, so during vacations we just let him roam free.
Exactly one year ago today, Tommy was out hunting mice and having a great time on that island.
he was snatched by an eagle.
we saw it happen, we saw the bird land and chased it away, but it had crushed his chest and punctured his lungs. he was dead before we got to him.
nature is cruel. at least he died a badass death.
drinking for Tommy tonight.you were my best childhood friend and you will be missed.
good
fuck your shitty cat
>>2374612
nice. I love eagles. hopefully you get eaten by one too
Teaches you a lesson, next time buy a falcon, birds of prey have proven themselves the superior species
>sees batch of four kittens
>infected with ticks, malnourished
>mom and dad are around neighborhood
>visit periodically
>feed kittens, dad hisses at kittens
I have the kittens at home. One has eyes closed but not infected. Have cleaned them up. Should I give them to animal shelter or raise them for a while? Not sure if i made a mistake... pls help
*I have cat milk replacer and wet food
>>2374372
Take them to a shelter. If they're young enough that one of them still has its eyes closed, then they're too young to toilet by themselves. Even if you can get them to eat and drink, you'll still have to wipe their bottoms so many times per day to stimulate toileting, and I don't think I really have to tell you how unawesome that is.
>>2374372
I honestly hate you kind of people.
>oh hey, just walked outside
>litters of kittens everywhere
>I'm just gonna pick them all up and bring them home. They don't run
what the hell? How do you people find so many kittens that are so willing to be handled? I found maybe 1 over my whole life and it sure as hell wasn't going to allow someone to touch or pick it up.
>>2374838
I think it's fine if they are ill like OP mentioned. But he should definitely take them to a vet for proper care. Maybe get them on some anti biotics before returning them to the mom
How do I care for an injured crow? Poor guy must have been hit by a car. Iv given him some water and grapes, but he is in definate shock.
Did you wrap him up in a warm blanket? He could have true shock and die from being cold.
>>2374211
Should I? It could be too stressful for it, plus I don't want to cause further harm to it. But im no where near an expert on this.
>>2374212
I understand. If it doesn't look to be hurt enough to have trauma you might maybe could give it a small heater by the cage. Shock can really hurt the little guy. He looks to be not that bad off, but worrying the worst can be the best.
My dog is blind, any tips for his QoL
>It's hard to get him to run, can't see a ball
>He's nervous to run with me
>He bumps his snout on everything, does that hurt him?
>He seems depressed because of all of this
I tried putting different scents in different rooms to make him more comfortable, keeping TV on when I'm out, and adding more carpets so he's more comfortable on location/distance.
Tie his collar and leash to another dogs collar and leash and take them to a large open field where the leashisn't going to get caught on shit.
My aunt did this for her blind lab with dwarfism.
That's such a cute doggo! I love labs.
No experience with blind dogs here, but maybe you could like tape something to his head, similar to like a blind persons walking stick but much shorter (just to it goes right beyond his nose), that way he won't bump into things!
This could be an awful idea, like I said I have no experience. You would have to take it off when he eats I guess. I also just realized you could put a cone on him too...
Give him plenty of kisses for me
Dance! Dance for his QoL!
Yeah! Summer is comin!

One of my male rats has become WAY too aggressive. I originally had him in a vivarium (since he was young) with male and female rats, he constantly attacked different rats, he hoarded most of the food and became extremely overweight because of this. I decided to move him to a smaller cage with a few male rats. He didn't do well either. I'm considering neutering him because the thought of leaving a rat alone for the rest of it's life bothers me. The thing is, I'm broke as heck, I've done a bit of research and I've found a few people who neutered (chemical neutering) their own rats at home with no problems and little to no experience.
I probably sound stupid, however I do have a bit of veterinary experience, I've shadowed an equine and rodent veterinarian for 2 years and I have basic medical training.

This is what I'll be using.
Anyways, why post about it on 4chan?
I want to know if it's ethical and I want to know if it's legal in the state of Florida. All of the results I've come up with aren't reliable as far as legality.

Honestly, you probably know more than the average /an/ user does at this point. You realize most of us just google shit and act like we know things, right?
It doesn't hurt to ask I suppose, but hey, thanks.
Seems like a lot of work just to not have to house him alone. it's uncommon but some rats NEED to be alone
It'd probably be easier for you to put him in his own cage next to your other ones so he can see them but doesnt have to worry about them
