I'm no birdtologist but that looks like a parakeet not a cockatiel.
oh awesome, perfectly timed for lunch time around here
hehe now ur the lunch bird
What are some good fish pellets from Petco that can be used with an axolotl? By good I mean "can be used as a staple diet."
I plan to feed them pellets with some good nutrients along with frozen and live food, but I'm not sure which brands I should go with since I've only ever done live or frozen.
(Pic related, it was suggested in a thread elsewhere...)

plz just give him worms
Do any other pet friendly animals bond with each other like rabbits do?
>>2419474
This nigga
Ferrets make really strong bonds. Some centres even require you to adopt them in pairs as they are very social.
Rats also bond with each other, and can even die of loneliness if their partner dies before them.

Spotted this in a local pet shop in the UK, is there any reasonable explanation for such a heavy amount of feather loss? I'm concerned they might be suffering from neglect.
The shop itself is filthy and the owner is a gypo who's husband was banned for life from owning dogs after it was found he had a warehouse filled with them caged and without access to water, so my fears aren't entirely unfounded.
>>2419404
Just report them.
>>2419404
Christ, if I had a bird like that, I'd have the biggest seasonal outdoor aviary I could DIY.
rate pupper
>name: Cappuccino

8/11.5 seems like a nice pupper.
Just warning you now, most people on this board do not like small dogs.
Brace yourself.
>>2419401
>this board do not like small dogs.
for a good reason.
they're usually dumb as fuck, loud for literally no reason and annoy the heck out of you.
>>2419750
Because most people who own small dogs are the kind of people who cant be bothered training them and want to treat them like babies.
I had 2 KC spaniels left to me by a relative. They were little fucks at first, loud, would chew things up and shit all over my house. But I when I actually put the time in to train them, teach them who's the boss of the house and what not to chew and where to shit they became the best dogs anyone could ever want. It's the owner not the breed.

He gets outside despite us trying to keep him in, he kills moles and brings them to me, he meows deliberately when "important but not excessively", comes when called and often just for lap-cat time.
Best cat I've seen but fixed. Just try to find another good cat? Wish this one should be bred for more good cats but was fixed. :L

Reminder that if you let them out to harass people or destroy property you are the worse type of pet owner there is
Even worse then the people who let their pythons out into the swamp

So my ratto (female) has a quite large bump on it's hind leg, it still has fur on it and it doesn't look like it's causing any problems with walking and stuff. Is it a tumour? I heard they're quite common in female rattos or is it just a bump? It's been there for a while now (I didn't take her to get checked since the closest vet is 1 hour away and it's an emergency vet).
>>2419080
It's a mammary tumour.
I had a rat once that had a lump on his shoulder area that ended up being a cyst. Had it until he died, never grew or caused problems. 99% of lumps in rats are tumors, though.
>>2419080
Tumour or abscess. Get her to the vet. If you can't afford getting to the vet and paying vets bills you can't afford pets.

Does anyone have access to IUCN Species Information Service? If so, could you please look me up some info?
In particular, what is there written about Bay cat and Helmeted hornbill.

Any help identifying these (snake?) eggs? I was planting tomatoes in my garden and found about 7 of them while digging. They were between 3-8 inches deep in the dirt and had a rough bumpy texture but were soft and you could press them slightly with your finger. I live in very northern California and the closest idea I could have is possibly a Black Racer, but as far as I know California isn't in their habitat range.
>>2418438
It's snakes. There's not much you can do to I'd them. Sit on them until they hatch and stop poking them.
>>2418438
I think you should put them back if you don't mind them being there, leaving them out of the dirt can kill them.
>>2418448
I re buried them at the same depth they were at when I found them. I'm just curious into what type of snake they'll hatch into.
