I believe who we choose to spend time with is a reflection of ourselves. Because you spend time with people who don't respect you and act without self-control I can tell you don't like yourself and don't feel that you have any control over your environment and who you surround yourself with. I'm of the opinion that you should drop these friends. It truly is better to be alone than to be around people who don't respect you or care about you. If it's just ballbusting that one thing, but malicious bullying is a whole different matter altogether.

My best advice is to start strong in college. Leave your dorm room door open during normal hours, be friendly, be proud of your hobbies, etc.

Back when I was 14, there was this cuck in my class who verbally bullied me. I ignored him. One day, I've decided that I'll backfire him - the motherfucker started to threaten me that he'll beat me up. He was a bit of a bigger guy back then but I wasn't scared of him, anger took over. I've stuck my fingers in his eyes, pulled him to the ground and proceeded to beat the shit out of him. Nothing too serious, just a nosebleed and a few bruises. I've had some minor troubles with teachers because of that but it was worth it, he has never pissed me off since.

I'm in with a group that have a guy like you. The poor kid. I don't know why he sticks around. They bully him really hard, like it's the culture to do so. They bully each other (except the group leader) too, but it's extremely. The groupchat has a bit that spams several gay porn gifs when his name is mentioned, and another bot with his name that just posts about being a faggot etc etc.

I've never heard the guy complain and he's actually quite shy and docile so I feel bad for him. But he's never asked for advice so I won't say anything.

I said something once, directed at the head of the group suggesting he act like an adult regarding the situation. I was banned for months. I also spoke with the kid privately and offered advice. He isn't too involved there anymore but his mockery is the most action in the group still.
