I'm 18 and i don't know what i want to do with my life, but i'm under pressure to make this decision in less than 2 days.
I got approved on I.T, in a public university at a nearby town. At the same time i can do an inferior I.T college,in a private university in my city. I also have the option to choose between some other degrees in my city (Civil engineering, Pharmacy, become a lawyer, etc). But i sincerely not interested in any of them.
I have two days to decide between these options. I've been thinking all day and dealing with my panic attacks but i can't find an answer. I don't know if i want to work with computers. I'm not very good at maths and know nothing about programming.
I can't stay here for another 6 months without doing nothing. As much as they're forcing me to do something, I KNOW and i want to do something but i don't know what, doesn't matter how much i'm researching. I don't want to end like my sister, she dropped out of Information Systems college after two years, got a degree in Dentistry and now is crying because she doesn't think that what she wants. So, poor decision making skills are probably common in my family.
Looking around i see many people like me, but i see many people with great ambitions in life and i don't know how they're like this...
I can't get a job for now because they wouldn't let me, i know i sound like a ridiculous teenager "manipulated" by his parents, but i live in a third world shithole with few opportunities, it's not smart to try to be independent for now because that's impossible.

Figure out what makes you the most money and go for it. As far as not liking the job, theres a name for that, its called everyone and we have our support groups at the bar

Google online career test. Do like 10 different ones. Then go to glass doors and see what pays best. Then look into job offers in your target location. Pick such study which will easily land you a job that pays somewhat good.
After that you pick the school. Make a list, prioritize it and maybe use pic related. Write it all down in ORGANIZED WAY on a paper.

Don't do what interests you. Do what makes the green and use it to get out. Dentristy can be lucrative. You want to ultimately work for yourself. School isn't for "finding yourself," it is for laying the groundwork for a stable future, which means money in the bank. You can do whatever you'd like when you have the funds to back it up.

Focusing on accruing a ton of money, in an attempt to get somewhere better is a fine idea, but you need to be cautious. The more you invest in something, the harder it'll be to leave it, for external and internal reasons. Don't let what was meant to become a stepping end up being your final destination
