Sorry for feeding your paranoia but it is possible to get HIV without having sex and doing drugs. There is a really low chance of it but this post was written by someone who wasn't that lucky. The disease can develop for 10 years without any visible symptoms and the only way to know you are clean is to get blood tests annually.

Yes, unfortunately. Viral shedding can occur even in the absence of any symptoms. With that said, a condom does not provide a lot of protection for genital herpes.
