Got prescribed Hydroxyzine. How do I wake up not feeling groggy

I had this stuff a few times. Fucking decks you. I guess you'll body will adjust over time if you have to take it long term. Someone woke me up from sleep while I was on this stuff and I couldn't speak properly and couldn't move right. It was a little scary. This stuff fucks you properly.

I'm on this. Kind of stopped taking it every night due to the same problem.
Only take it for anxiety.

I'm on 25mg, and I also have Lexapro for anxiety, this was mostly for the insomnia so I take it before bed. It just makes it so hard to wake up

Yeah my psych said it could help me in the case of a panic attack. I was originally going to take 50mg at night but he decided I should take 1 capsule at night and the other as needed.
It can make me sleepy, but not always. When I do fall asleep, though- I wake up completely spacey and need so much caffeine just to go to work.
