For just about every waking moment of the past 14 years I have wanted to get out of California. I have only worked as a temp employee, and am looking at colleges while applying everywhere to get some money so I can save up (won't be an issue anyways because family but it's just enough to stay alive when there's no assignment). So far I've made up my mind that my goals are to get a cushy job I can work over the net and at home on for a majority of what I have to do (probably something like IT), leave this state and its insane cost of living behind (it's nowhere to raise a good family now), and to live out the rest of my days in a nice cabin with my tech shit, my dakka, and god willing a family. Thing is I don't actually know where to start, is there a quick cheap acreditacion program I should take, should I go to a college and get a degree for it (cringe), just get another job for a while before doing any of that? I really have no idea what to do now.
Guess I'll have to leave this overnight.
>wanting to leave the best state in the union
Your goal is a fantasy and unobtainable. Rethink it. You don't seem to know anything about IT or the industry.
Quick and cheap is not the way to go at life and it's not how you will succeed

Ask yourself better questions and you'll get better answers. When it comes to what your thinking in your head.

>best state in the Union
Even Canada would be a better state than California

. . .What's the better start, college trade skill, or more work experience?
