I am exactly the same, except I'm slightly younger.

I can tell you exactly why I hate people - it's jealousy or envy. I am naturally a very pessimistic and negative person, so when I see somebody who is happy, I feel anger.

It kind of dawned on me that this is a very unhealthy way to live. Most people are just out there trying to get through life as easily as possible. Very few people are deliberately annoying, so the responsibility of managing this starts and ends with you.

Try and work out the triggers that make you hate people. Work through them slowly, step by step and analyse why it developed into full blown hatred. Then work on how you can avoid getting to that stage. It'll take time and you'll probably always be a judgmental and reactionary person, but you can improve.

Also try and remember that people will pick up on your mood. If you are very standoffish and they can see you're unhappy, they're probably going to avoid you, therefore reinforcing your negative opinion of people. If you try to change your outlook even slightly, you will find that people are more positive towards you, increasing your confidence and self worth and helping you to feel better about people.
