I have a retail job interview tomorrow in the mall. Never had a retail job, dunno if i should or shouldnt have said that in the phone interview. But they invited me for a group interview tomorrow. I have experience as a waiter and working construction.
Get me hired. Best advice?

I work at a similar retail store and was in the exact same boat as you. I've been told by my manager since working there that she prefers to hire people that have experience as a waiter because she knows they can work under pressure and handle rude customers. Just try and tell them this during the interview, and show an enthusiasm for what you'll be selling because you need to stand out from the crowd.
Retail jobs are piss easy compared to working in catering so you don't have to worry about that. Good luck OP.

Super nervous cause I really need this job
I was gonna wear dress shirt, pants, and possible some nice Adidas shoes i have, havent decided.
Since I have waiter experience I'll be sure to stress parts like 'the customer is always right' and 'working as a team to accomplish....'
bamp, anyone else?

Not /fa/ but i dont think adidas shoes would go with that... It just seems like a far left tactic to me. Like a desperate plea in a bad way.

gotcha.
gonna keep it simple with
>dress shirt
>dress pants
>dress shoes
not sure if tie

A tie is going overboard for a retail job. You're not applying for office work btw.
