>mole on navel suddenly becomes raised, pink and sore to the touch
>no medical insurance
what do i do?
Is it multicolored an asymmetrical?
>>18359656
seems symetrical. its mostly one color, like one dark spot where the hair is growing tho
>>18359697
>like one dark spot where the hair is growing
congrats you got an infected hair follicle not cancer.
>>18359704
for real real? like how legit is this theory? and if so whats treatment? i mean ill still get tested but this makes me rest easy.
is this more likely to happen immediately after shaving? cuz all these issues started right after i had shaved.
You likely irritated it. Like a friction rash. Put a bandaid and some antiseptic cream on it.
>>18359719
i should probably get it checked out just to be safe tho right?
this did happen right after i shaved the navel
>>18359724
No. It's likely ingrown hair or razor burn.
>>18359713
>cuz all these issues started right after i had shaved.
yeah, it's an ingrown hair more than likely then. you don't just get cancer overnight. I mean unless you've been hanging out on /leftypol/
>>18359730
fuck this takes a load off. still going to go get it tested and removed but so fucking glad. so. fucking. glad.
>>18359733
i mean the moles been there for years and laways been kinda 'off' looking but the docs who examined it all said it looked fine. but when it got bright fucking pink and clear i got worried, but it was the day of shaving so whew.
still gonna get tested once my insurance comes through.
thank you guys tho
>>18359757
>fuck this takes a load off. still going to go get it tested
Do you have an anxiety disorder?
>and removed
There's no removing to be done. Just put some triple antibiotic ointment on it. If this doesn't fix it or decrease the inflammation in two days, THEN go to the doctor's office.
>>18359977
>do you have an anxiety disorder
no, but when your mole rises the fuck up do you not get it checked? better safe than sorry when it comes to fucking cancer. even without insurance its only like 600 bucks to get it removed and tested last time i checked.
>>18359983
Not normally, if it looks like a pimply thing that can be tamed with triple antibiotic ointment and then you see what it looks like two days later.
>>18360051
better safe then sorry
>>18360053
If you spend two days with this thing putting triple antibiotic ointment on it, I bet you will save both yourself and the doctor a bunch of time.
>>18360067
im def going to do that anyway. but its not like the doctor is trying to 'save time'
