I need a laptop for everything basically
Needs to be good for media consumption so at least a full HD screen
14 inches
A decent battery life
Can handle light gaming so ps1, SNES emulation and I mostly play cRPGs and older action games I wanna play them on high with 60fps and maybe some newer indie games or Rpgs on medium/low at 30fps
Can edit video fairly and handle music production software
Backlit keyboard
And doesn't look stupid or cheap, so no spaceship looking gaming laptops. I think that ThinkPads look good and MacBooks look good so you can judge my tastes on that

Might not be the best but it's what I have hands on experience and pretty much does all you want.
