mean movies are always an option but it seems too cliche for me. Whats your favorite place to take someone to a date? Or should I just go to see a movie? Please help I literally have no idea where to go on a date :(
I mean*
My personal favorites is concerts.
Also think of something you like to do or somewhere you'd like to explore.
play pool/bowling . get a drink if they aren't prudish.
Movie dates are too uneventful. Choose something that will get her blood pumping, allow physical contact and conversation, and make memories. A concert, hiking/camping, swimming (rivers, springs, beaches, whatever), ride fourwheelers, go dancing, ride skateboards around and just explore, go out for food at a unique place (for example, I went on a date to a traditional ethiopian restaurant, was more memorable than a regular diner or w/e).
It'd help if you had a specific example of a person you were trying to take out. If you both have dogs, you could take them out together, if you have common ground in photography, go shoot some photos together. Think about the things you both like!

On a date, if your goal is to connect and engage with someone, it's important to BE ABLE TO connect and engage.
Movies are loud and take up the focus of attention, if you do food after then you have a chance to talk and assess each other's pros and cons, see if you can stand this person
I recommend Dinner and a museum.
talk about yourselves and fill yourself with food, then go evaluate art while discussing the meal

On a first date you want to get to know someone so I usually choose a coffee date.
It's cost effective, you can bail you don't like them, or you can take them somewhere afterwards if it goes good.
